Events, no love for PVE
I thought there were going to be several events in rotation not just pvp iron banner, what happened to the queen and coming out with new events. This is fourth event and the past three have been iron banner ( really feels like you guys gave up), only the first one was semi pve, where is the love for pve players?

3 RepliesThey need to fix the Queen's event before they bring it back. It was the same exact thing as iron banner: Do exactly what you've already done 1,000 times for different rewards. We need actual events. "Beat mission X with twice as many enemy spawns". "Beat mission X with enemies who have double health but drop 5 times as much loot". "Beat mission X with an invicible fallen squad slowly following you through the level".

Its simple. People found exploits in the original fotmat for queens wrath. They brought it all back to the drawing board. They are just making this up as they go since all of the old content was cut before launch.

They just need do the same thing as Queen's Wrath, Have a way to get rep in both PvP and PvE. I can't stand the crucible, but I hate being left out of content because of it.

3 RepliesI agree, they need to give more pve events. 50% of all events should be pve oriented to cater to all players. Some, like me, hate pvp for a list of personal reasons and feel left behind by bungie

Too many people complained about how the queen missions just used the same regular levels, had you hunt fallen bosses, and just upped their difficulty a bit. They gave you a helmet and chest piece and occasionally a sniper or one other gun and a really low chance at the ship. People used the missions to grab the easy legendary gear and shard it until day 2 when they patched that. Then people didn't do them anymore because they didn't want the gear and couldn't get shards from it, unless they just wanted to get the shaders emblems or class item from her emissary. They are working on trying to figure a new way to bring the queen to us. In fact, I saw a response from DeeJ a week ago reply to someone asking about the queen. DeeJ said "I'll ask about the queen." I do not know the post or link, but I have no reason to lie about this. I would like to see the queen's return, and I d honestly like to get my hands on the queen's emissary's ship with all of the ribbons on it. That ship was more unique than anything in the game. I got all both shaders and emblems and the class item the first time the emissary came to visit. I'd like to see more.

And if Queen's Wrath ever does return, it won't be a purely pve event just as it wasn't last time. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they changed it to a purely pvp event (slightly) different from iron banner and crucible.

It would appear that bungie only cares about the pvp players look at all the weapon nerfs because pvp players bitched and whined i understand why the vex mythoclast was nerfed it was destroying shields in 2 shots and killing players in 1 shot but when people ask for stuff to be done for pve we get jack squat

I didn't actually finish a Queen's bounty because I was under the impression I wasn't at a high enough level. When I found out that my level didn't matter the event ended. I nearly kept that one bounty I had just finished.

And pretty awesome missions too. Am I missing something?

Or have both Queen and IB while they work on more. Codes already there so that's 90% of their excuse market gone.

2 RepliesEdited by ThorClark: 12/17/2014 9:48:46 PMOr just incorporate some PvE bounties or missions into Iron Banner so PvP haters don't have to do it to participate. IIRC, Queen's Wrath had both elements so you could play how you like instead of how someone in an office somewhere dictates.

Edited by OniAngel808: 12/17/2014 10:43:38 PMI like the nightmare and burn modifiers for story missions. When you are at appropriate level the heroics are just bland. Leveling up a new character feels more challenging than a heroic daily aside from the Rasputin defense one.
