'Twas The Night Before Christmas

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, All the creatures were stirring, they had eaten that mouse. The stockings were poorly hung by the chimney with little care but these creatures, The Dragons had hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there. The Dragons were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of conquering Bungie played in their heads. And Mamma Dragon in her ‘kerchief, and I, in my Dragon skull cap, Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap. When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, Myself and the Dragons sprang from the bed to see what was the matter, Away to the window they flew like a flash, Tore off the shutters violently and shredded the sash. The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow, Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature sleigh, and and a lovely feast of eight tinny reindeer. With a little old driver, not so lively nor quick, I knew in that moment it must be Saint Nick. More rapid than eagles his coursers they came, And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name! "Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen! On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen! To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall! Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!" And it was with this ridiculous call, that all the Dragons awoke, It was then they began to feast on the reindeer, while belching out smoke. With the sleigh full of Toys, and Saint Nicholas running in fear, his weight problems at once were never so clear, He huffed and he puffed praying help would come soon, while he noticed shadows of Dragons covering the moon. He ran and he scurried, with no shelter to find, When in a sudden flash of fire his eyes became blind, Crying and confused, he fell to the floor and in an instant blast of heat, Saint Nicholas was no more. The Dragons happily feasted for many an hour, Then we took Santa's sleigh, setting course for Ivory Tower. First they took Marty to barter their way, Hoping they could change Destiny and the way it was played. More Dragons they demanded, without them it was wrong! But Bungie soothed their rage and hate with loving Christmas songs. Both man and beast then shook hands, as Bungie now allowed Dragons to have a part in Destiny's plans. With the humans now spared, they could all work together, It was then Bungie realized how including Dragons made everything much better. Within a few days, the Dragons work was done right, and Helveck and his Dragons had to fly into the night. After mounting his Dragon and starting on his way, Helveck turned and looked down, beginning to wave, He took a deep breath and with all of his might, he screamed out to Bungie, "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!" Love, Helveck
