Think about this, why would destiny have random generated loot unless there is supposed to be in game trading, see when people trade it creates values for in game items. The value of an item is based on how often it drops, if the game didn't have rng and had a trading system then each item would have low value ruining the in game economy. But rng loot saves that by making items random drop it keeps items value, what's the point of rng if you won't let up trade bungie?
