Color coordination for abilities in Crucible.

Back in Halo, knowing who's explosives were who's didn't matter, because they blew everyone up all the same. In Destiny, this isn't the case. There is no friendly fire. When I'm in the thick of it, I can't keep track of who's throwing what. Many times I'll walk into a vortex thinking for sure it's friendly aaannnnnd then I'm having my soul sucked out of me. Many times I'll hesitate, thinking it is the enemy's, but it's my team mate's and I die because I second guessed. So I have a thought. What if the abilities were color coordinated in Crucible so one can identify if it is hostile or friendly? Friendly trip mines become blue, are red if their the enemy's. Hostile nova bombs are crimson. Hostile shock grenades are bright red. The general rule being blueish means friendly, and reddish means hostile. I think that would be real helpful.

  • Call Of Duty has a similar flaw. I think there would be a very simple fix available for hostile grenades, merely have a Grenade icon show up on-screen when the other team throws a grenade effect weapon. Then again, when there's already so many effects going on in PvP, this fix might break something else. I suppose those with a team communicate about their grenades etc., I'm pretty much solo in the crucible so I'm in a similar situation. I just try to avoid anything I don't know is mine (or didn't see my team throw out).
