"Vendor' gear denial" has been a problem since "Destiny" came out; so for those of you still playing it, I have a suggestion.
"Vanguard" and "Crucible" marks should be exchangeable for each other (in bundles of 20 minimum and a 20% drop in number) so that those who don't do "The Crucible" can still deal with "The Faction Vendors" and Lord Shaxx, or PvP'ers can spend their tokens with "The Vanguard Vendors". Finally, "Commendations" should be purchasable in exchange for their corresponding mark type (50 of them apiece perhaps?), besides only being obtained from "rank up" packages.
What do you think?

I like all ideas... Bungie really needs to re-evaluate this stuff. This stuff makes Destiny an excruciating grind just to get decent gear for the casual player. As for commendations, once past Rank 3 at any of the vendors they may not be an issue, but what really sucks about commendations and the way they are now, is that gear that you only needed to be Rank2 to buy (helmets, chest plates), you actually need to be Rank 3, since the commendations are not granted until after Rank 3 which is ridiculous. So even though you have the proper rank2 to buy the helmet or chest, you are out of luck since you wont have the commendation until rank3, which is ridiculous.
