eris' obsession with the forsaken's eyes
She seems to be very very keen on understanding and delving further into the darkness. Corruption? or just a healthy need to understand and learn of the darkness? I hope the latter but the desperation in her voice when you finish the bounty was weird. Thoughts?

Well, we know she was in the pit for a while. Chances are she lost the ability to see due to being in the dark for so long. She then learned how to use the eyes of the Hive to see. However this is only temporary so she sends you to get her more eyes so she can continue to see. Makes sense and doesn't imply that she is corrupted either.
