WARNING: TO all that will kill crota.
Make sure to have an open slot available for an emblem. My friend and i were the only ones who had a full inventory and the only ones who did not recieve the reward after killing crota.

Should be in the mailbox. My emblem inventory was full when we beat crota and the emblem showed up in the mailbox afterwards.
