Factions and Commendations
My problem with Commendations is simple, I can't restrict myself to Patrols anymore. I want to admire the landscape and hunt down some poor sorry Dreg to get my ranks up. Now it's absolutely necessary I do the Crucible. I used to do Crucible every now and then to get some marks and then go back to patrolling, but now it's just a chore.
So what I would like is this. Bungie, please let us use Vanguard Marks and Commendations for Factions. Faction gear is cool, and not to mention stylish, and I know I would like to Patrol to get it, and I'm sure others would too.

7 RepliesFactions should have their own PVE bounties and commendations. Glimmer should be main currency to go along with the rep. Forcing people to play crucible for some Exotic bounties is bad enough, and now I can't get the AR I want without grinding it out in a MP that I don't find entertaining.

totally agreed!! I wonder what percentage of Destiny players feel the same way about crucible. It really is a totally different game than strikes and patrols which I love about the game. If Destiny was only Crucible I would have thrown it away long ago.
