Weekly update is due
Well all flaming aside, what do you think they'll do?
I'm on "I have the expansion and feel even more screwed over for it" side. Just had to get it out :-)

They'll have a special piece on how they have addressed the communities concerns and fixed that typo in the german spelling of ascendant energy. That was what was ruining the game for everyone

Long story short if your not having fun dnt play, nobody gives s -blam!- if your unhappy, shit destiny doesn't even give a -blam!- if you stop playing your a number, it wouldn't surprise me if they are trying to get people to stop playing but wind up with 10 more new players cause the hype went a long way....

2 RepliesQuite honestly I enjoy the story the dark below gave, I like the new weapons, I am slightly disappointed in a 32 cap (wish it would've gone up to 35), don't mind xur upgrades because buying it causes an upgrade above what you already had, and wish there was more content from the story. Finally expanded on Crota but now that mystery is over without a truly great knowledge about him or what he did.

11 RepliesI pressed Pretend nothing happened. Because Nothing Happened. Maybe in Bungie Forum land a lot "happened". Let me guarantee to you that nothing Happened. There are millions of players as we speak playing Destiny, enjoying the Crota raid, leveling up their new legendaries and upgraded exotics. In that same time there are only a few hundred on this forum creating topics like this one or giving replies to it. How long will it take before you realize that this crusade people are on, is a useless one?

3 RepliesThey'll pretend as if everyone loves it and it was a huge success. They'll act like there was no negative feedback and won't apologize to the people who can't do the weekly or nightfall this week. The next update will be a community focus talking with the first team to beat the raid.

Bungie once great leaders in FPS now fluffed and failed on an epic scale. Business math. Charge £34.99 for game and give a few bonus items and levels. Customer receives - unable to complete any strike or raid blaming my internet connection, re rank the armour and gun levels to screw over we who bought the dlc while new customers gets it easier and best of all from all research no recognition of fudging up this bad. I know it's a shizzle storm over at the Master Chief office but focus on what is undoubtedly the biggest earner for you guys over here eh?

Probably deciding what tricks the next sparrow can do or what colour to paint it or maybe seeing if they can lock all non dlc buyers out of every playlist

this dlc is a huge slap in the face for everyone especially people who took the time to bust ass and grind to get exotics and get to level 30, buying the dlc you now get to buy your way to level 31 and to add insult to injury they make you re grind for exotics you already grinded so hard to get before just so they could do 31points more damage then before....way to kick s man when they are down

Have played two missions from the new dlc and well it's the same old dumb grind Not much interested in playing anymore just not entertained by it at all Destiny feels like a failed experiment , like they got the wrapper right, but the game is a flopped recipe of mospit

The 3 story missions are stupid. Nothing gets explained. And all three parts didn't open up new areas to explore. The next DLC better have more areas and more story missions. Not worth $20. Now what they should do is add missions that add up to a planet, bout six and 3 new strikes. Not just 3 and one strike.

Adding new areas to explore seems to be beyond Bungies capabilities. They really should watch watch the tutorial videos for their game engine again :) Just so you know what I mean by that. Check youtube for Unreal engine tutorial series to get some idea on how user friendly game engine editors have gotten. I imagine Bungie has coders building custom tools that make it even easier. So why no new areas?

To be fair something happened but the filters that bungie has tells them nothing negative. And they don't 'promise' to fix things, they 'look into it' that look may be similar to a quick glance into a large unlit room for a dark object but they will look... apparently. Really got to commend them on those filters they seem to be incredibly effective

11 RepliesThey are in full on damage control mode now. They are holed up with their lawyers and PR people trying to figure out how to get out of the bed the just shit. I would not be surprised if bungie goes silent after this, they are fighting a losing battle with the community. No further direct contact with us. All we will get is updates on what's coming whether we like it or not, no more feedback or deej. Hence the new EULA we will take it or leave it as they give it. They've painted themselves into a corner with their underhanded cash grabbing and overall shady business tactics. With the threat of lawsuits looming it's really one of the best of their few options. This way they can't be further accused of over selling and under delivering again.
