I have been plating Destiny with friends on Crucible since the first week this game was released. I had been playing and I had a friend constantly saying what gun he was killed by. I asked him what he was talking about, and apparently when you die in Crucible, it's supposed to show the name of the gun you were killed by (not just the gun symbol). I'm not sure if this is a bug that other people have experienced or my disc itself. If anyone knows, I would like to know please and thank you.
