I was somewhat excited to hang up completing bounties for Rep and weapon leveling, and start cracking away at the "expansion" content. But that shortly faded after the first mission. Going to a place on the Earth, that I knew had existed but sat strangely empty since launch, to kill one target that took all of 5 minutes, was the point I decide that this expansion won't be worth me losing sleep over. That is just the first failed fluffer, here are a few others: That "mission" rewarded me with what seems like just a string of exotics bounty quests, as well as a level 18 chest piece and same quality boots. Just let that sink in-level 18 gear, as part of an "expansion" that picks up in the mid to high 20s. Also, as part of the "Dark Below care package," I expected something of either uniqueness or value (I would have even settled for a special shader for being the idiots who agreed to buy the DLC before we knew how the game would blow). Nope. More Nemesis Plane gear that I wore when I broke 20, and some energies and shards-which I refuse for anything at this time. Oh, and some Black Wax...the same shit I've been scraping off the floor where I melt down Phogath every 20 minutes. WHOOPDY...friggin...DOO! Now, I cannot only fill up and complete bounties while I play "story" content, because the "quests" now take up that bounty slot, I also cannot muster a give a damn to play this game anymore. Of course I will out of sheer curiosity, and because I paid for HoW's already-but that will likely be it unless they revamp almost everything about this Failed Destiny. Kill yourselves, Devs.
