Hello fellow guardians and bungie, I would like to discuss the possibility to create a new leveling system thats you can use in a unique way. So now we have light levels which work pretty straight forward. My idea is to make for example a "dark leveling" system besides the light leveling. This would create an opportunity to give weapons, armor and subclasses different perks that can be used. So in my example I am talking about "dark" vs light levels. For example : my warlock has the sunsinger subclass equipped. Now normally I would have fire born as perk while using light levels. When using dark levels I would have a different perk, example "hell gate" : which will let me set the ground on fire with specific radius. Now this is only an example for my warlock So I describe one for the titan and the hunter to. The hunter would have on the blade dancer class a perk called shadow strike. This perk would create a shadow of the guardian for +-15 sec ( duration could be increased ) that will attack all enemy's who come close ( one by one with a blade ) The titan would have a special perk for the striker called Reversed black hole. When this perk is activated it spawn a bubble which will take a damage applied to it for +-10 sec ( duration could be increased ) and will fire the double damage back at the general direction of the attackers when the time is over. ( note titan will still take damage when hit) As for weapons and armor, depending on which light levels are used there "could" be different perks applied.
