1. It will take longer for PVE players to buy Faction Armor. Why?
Because they don't play PVP.
So they will only be doing Vanguard Bounties, Strikes, and patrols. That means only a 100 marks a weak. That can be used on four Factions, rather than one. -blam!-ing Duh!
Now you've extended these player's game time and participation in those events.
Instead of 2.
They farm the Crucible and not play PVP in any shape or form that makes for a good match. Enjoy the Dance party and AFKs who could give a damn about W/L or K/D.
Idiots will say good. More target practice, till these Crucible Farmers are on their side. Then it's not so much fun.
3. You can try to curtail it by adding whatever penalties and lock outs you can dream up, but then you just pushed players out of your game, bad word of mouth, your next title might as well be a new TitanFall experiment.
4. PVE players are asking for something that is fair. Add a couple PVE factions to offset the five choices PVP has, or establish a fair trade with Vanguard marks.
You saw fit to have PVE players out on Patrol to run missions for these Factions, but just wait for RNG to reward them? C'mon!
The smart PVP player knows the reasonings for not forcing PVE players into PVP. Especially if they don't want to be there. They don't want AFKs and Crucible Farmers in there doing nothing.
PVE players are driven to collect armor permutations and weapons. They are out playing the game collecting material to achieve those goals. The best part is they don't play PVP, so it's no unfair advantage that they have some FWC gear and guns.
It's being used on the Cabal.
C'mon dev team.
