Remember the missions in Halo Reach when we had to pilot the space ships and go up against the enemies for just one mission. Bungie could easily expand on this and allow us to use the ships that we have already chosen in our inventory to actually fly in space and or on different planets for air to air or air to ground combat missions throughout the solar system. These missions could be Strikes lists so people that are not comfortable with space flight simulations wold not be forced to play. The ships that Destiny already has in the system could be armed with different space based weapons and it would expand Destiny to an entirely different gameplay choice. I wouldn't even care if they wanted to charge for an optional DLC package for this. I know that Bungie hadn't refined the old flight simulator mission in Reach, but now that they are doing something new, I am suggesting to Bungie, be more BOLD... We are in SPACE. There are infinite possibilities that are out there for us when we are in that ship. We could be in the middle of a Space Ship fighting mission and get pulled through a wormhole to a Vex world in another galaxy or something. Destiny could have it set up just like the Strikes now where we earn points to spend in the tower on upgrades for the ships and or gear and we could go in 6 ship - 12 ship groups depending on the scale of the mission. There have been 10 Ace Combat games that do the same things with a direct title. Bungie could easily take some of that marketshare while still staying in the Destiny world. People worldwide are hungry for something different. How many years will we be forced to only fly an F-22 when we have they beautiful Space Ships in Destiny. Lets be bold and offer some space flight missions Bungie. Feel free to contact me for an expanded idea. I believe people would invest heavily into Budgie and destiny for this type of DLC. I know I would. Just an idea. I would like to know what others think about this.
