Red Death improvement

So I have had red death for a while now, my first exotic I think. I hadn't leveled it though until I made my Titan and I thought it'd be perfect for adding to the survivability of a titan and making the defender class feel more tanky (along with strength gear and force barrier perks). I grind out bounties and such to get the perk and I unlock it only to find out it has the same limitations as a regular Regen.. Once you take more damage it doesn't matter if you just killed something you get no heal. That's almost pointless because that's the only time it would be useful! If you aren't under fire your health would just regenerate on it's own in a couple seconds. I hate that it took me this long to figure out this was a regular old pulse rifle with a slow fire rate and a glorified reload perk masquerading as something more. Well Bungie has talked a big game about fixing these exotics so they feel exotic and I really want this gun to be useful in PvE but as of now its just an ok pulse rifle. I think it should give an instant heal of either a quarter or a third of your health. I'd say instant regen but I know people would wine about that in PvP since Bungie refuses to use separate balancing. Either way this gun needs a tweak if it's going to compete with other weapons for that coveted exotic slot and truly feel like an exotic weapon worth using. Description sounds nice but aside from 300 dmg at max it might as well be a rare without anything else to set it apart.

Gotta love how they nerfed it harder than the Suros Regime. I guess bungie hates Halo 2 and 3 fans so much that they have to completely crush any weapon resembling the battle rifle. They love CoD fans though, stable ARs have been the ABSOLUTE BEST pvp gun since the beginning despite being the lowest skill weapon that and discouraging headshots. Yeah, once in a blue moon you get killed by the odd Last Word or Hawkmoon but the auto aim on hand cannons makes it pretty easy so I still find myself almost happy whenever I die to a pulse rifle. Bungie just wants to make the game accessible to terrible players that only know how to spray and pray, while those of us who were expecting a game that would stay fresh, cool and fun for a few years were expecting something with a slightly higher skillcap. Oh well, I'm sure a similar but but more balanced game will surface eventually. I still have some faith in the company but every time I play pvp I get so frustrated at whores who crouch in corners with a suros, a found verdict and a hezen vengeance who teabag every time they get a kill. I'll get Dark Below but if they don't show more dedication towards properly refining the third of a game that we payed a premium price for, I'll just move on to a better game from a company that more closely resembles the company I though bungie was.
