I always thought that Psycho Mantis boss fight was cool how you had to change controller to a different port for the fight. I also liked how his dialog changes if you have other Konami games saved on your memory card and depending how many times you saved he would have different dialog.
What are some of your favorite game mechanic? What are ones you would like to see be in games?

An experience system, like the one in the PS1 game called Shadow Tower, where you don't allocate your experience points, but instead how you do in combat governs your stats, like getting hit will potentially start increasing your health and defenses, attacking with a certain weapon type increases the damage output you deal with the weapon type, and so forth.

Favourite mechanic may have misunderstood this but what the hell, I love the Sputnik skull and watching the ghosts etc go flying on Metropolis at the beginning when you have the Scorpion tank. Satisfying.

Rev-Rolling was always fun in Pac-Man World, I also love the catching live ammo in Oddworld: Strangers Wrath.

I like how the hacking/invasion mechanic works in watchdogs. Feels like assassins creed. You know, those mutiplayer things where you have to assassinate targets? Essentially that...it's pretty fun. Especially when you get to mess with their heads. I moved his car across a road and hid in the car infront. Took the guy until 99% to realize the difference. He lost as he shot my car. So much win

I really love how Bioware implements choices from previous games like in the Mass Effect series and Dragon Age series. It makes the story much more personalized. It's somewhat the same with Assassin's Creed, how Uplay recognizes you've played previous installments and rewards you for it. Obviously most of the time it's just cosmetic stuff, but it's nice that they recognize/value your support.
