Raid Bugs/Glitches I had last night.

I'm sure some of you are sick of hearing the same stories of people who've encountered bugs/glitches in the Vault of Glass. So was I. However, when they actually happen to YOU, that's when the issue starts to become more important to you. I'm just going to provide a list of the bugs we came across, and some of them I've never even heard of before. Gatekeeper Bugs: 1. Portals could not be taken back - If the vex took control of a portal, we could not take it back. That left the people inside the portal helpless, and we had to wipe. I'm not sure if that's intended, but I could have sworn the first time I did the raid that wasn't a problem. Atheon Bugs: 1. Cleansing would not work sometimes. One person would be cleansed, and the other wouldn't. - This is 50/50. I'm not sure if it was the cleansing that was the issue, or the people 'claiming' they were cleansed but in fact they weren't inside the bubble all the way. 2. Enemies regenerating health - You've heard of this one before. 3. Oracles - Killing them was fine. If we succumbed, however, things went to hell. Instead of everyone dying, some people would die, others wouldn't, we would be teleported to different areas, etc. It was a mess. 4. Vex Portals - When we would be teleported, we would destroy all of the oracles and enemies, and as we were attempting to return to Atheon, the portal wouldn't work and we would simply be returned to Venus or Mars, causing a wipe. In one case, the two people who weren't holding the relic returned to Atheon, but the relic-holder had to go through the portal twice before he could return. We had to wipe because we all assumed the relic-holder had returned at the same time, and we were killed by Atheon in the center of the area. 5. Teleporting - This was a big one. We managed to deal with it a couple times, but it really shouldn't happen. If a member of our team was down at Atheon and he teleported us to Mars or Venus, sometimes it would attempt to teleport the DEAD PLAYER. This left two people on Mars or Venus, and it was bad. It happened multiple times... I may be wrong, but it's possible that in Bungie's code, the direction to teleport three random players isn't just specified to players who are alive, but ANY player regardless of their state. I'm not sure I agree with that, if that's the case. 6. The Relic - This was by far the most frustrating one. During Time's Vengeance, as the relic-holder would jump to the middle platform to shield the players so they could attack Atheon, the shield would abruptly disappear without warning. No, we didn't run out of time either. I'm talking about at least 15 seconds of Time's Vengeance left on the clock. Obviously, we would all be killed instantly because Atheon would bomb all of us to oblivion. It happened to me as I was holding the relic as well. I can tell you 100% that my LB was pressed down, and there was time left on the clock. I think it happened 3-4 times last night. It was beyond frustrating, and it once happened when Atheon was almost dead. Those are the issues I encountered during my run last night. Thankfully, I was with a team that was determined to beat it, so we managed to in the end (although two people left, 1 because of kids and the other because I think he raged, lol. We found two people who helped out a ton in the end, though.) I got the exact same rewards for beating Atheon on my last run though, so that was disappointing... Oh well though. It took us about 2 hours and a crap ton of deaths to beat Atheon because of those issues, but we did it... If you've experienced any of those problems, feel free to comment so we can maybe come to an exact conclusion as to what needs to fixed. I'm aware that Bungie is working on fixes right now, but maybe they missed an error and seeing this thread could help them become aware of it. Also, don't be immature. There's no need to come in here and rage about your issues. You're not the only one who has experienced problems, and as it's been shown, if you're patient enough you can beat them. Fixing code isn't easy. If you've ever programmed anything, you should know how complicated it can be. Be patient, and I'm sure we'll have a fixed Vault of Glass soon enough!

  • What do we get for beating atheon ? Well a legendary loading screen or an legendary sparrow that a little big faster than the rare can that get you to place faster than the time it take to beat the gatekeeper and atheon on easy as a lvl 30 , now even increased by the bug that broke the game . A little chance that we get what we want and more what we don't want . Lvl 28 and 29 are really struggle at getting to lvl 30 for dark below dlc because of broken raid . The only thing that require skill is the crucible, everything else require to higher lvl and you can't even get to higher lvl . And it been more than 2 months bungie didn't even fix the endings of the raid screen stuck at zero . $20 dlc with 3 story mission , endless repeated same boring bounty . This wanabe but not quadsi mmo is turning into dark soul series not because of the hard enemies but because the time it take to grinding by doing repeatedly boring task and bounty . And they don't even fix the exploit and the bug the endgame content . When they screw up the endgame content , people going to trade the game in . And already making dlc and even planning for a -blam!-ing sequel . *triple facepalm* even a double facepalm can't describe the failure . WTF Bungie
