Do you believe the Monte Carlo should get a stability buff or damage buff? I have asked my friends that have the weapon how they feel about it and they all reply "it should get at least a small stability buff". If you have a Monte Carlo maxed out or not what is your opinion on damage and stability? Preferred you have it maxed out before input so you can get the feel of the gun.

    It needs something for sure and is up there with Bad Juju as an under performing exotic! It's a shame as the Monte Carlo looks and sounds awesome. The crosshair's great and the rate of fire godly, it's just not much use beyond novelty value as sprays about like a hose pipe and loses too much effectiveness at medium ranges. The hip firing upgrade is pretty pointless too. It reads well on paper, but in practise ads is more effective in virtually every situation as you have to be landing consistent headshots due to the low impact. Instead something like increased stability the longer you fire could work well and would be interesting - especially with the increased ammo upgrade further down the tree. I would leave the impact as it is. As an exotic the Monte Carlo needs it's own identity and uber fast firing with low impact fits that pretty well. Get rid of the hip firing perc - it really is a waste - and replace it with something that makes the gun easier to handle so it's viable beyond short ranges. //edit Everyone knows what the Monte Carlo really needs tho - 1 hit kill uber stab that replaces melee :D

  • Monte Carlos is lacking in that damage and fire rate department right now its less than Atheons epilogue which is fine but only if it did more damage that the epilogue but it does not same with the voc and most exotic scout rifles Monte Carlos needs to be the fastest firing exotic primary in the game to make it stand out the perk itself is useless unless I can get the rounds and damage out first the thigs this gun needs is Stability perk Fastest fire rate in the game Standard reload 50round mag standard Melee energy gained upon giving damage Damage is fine never had too much of a problem but if at all possible may be bottom half of mag does increased damage perk If your interested in weapon changes I will also link my idea for fusion rifles and how to fix those take a look if your interested https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/81208128/0/0
