There is no sportmanship. I mean, honestly, most of the time, if someone feels like they're gonna lose, they quit. It's very rare to see someone fight to the end, which my friends and I always do. If you attack someone with a superior force, most of the time they'll just leave. Maybe 10 seconds into a confrontation, they just leave because they see they're gonna lose.
The same applies if you're losing in a game with randoms. Teammates will often just quit, and it's me versus three other guys, or me and a chill teammate sticking it out.
Even when you're playing with friends, if the enemy sees that you aren't resigning they will try to farm you for points. If that happens I send a msg saying that they either finish the job or I leave, and being the greedy guys that they are, I have not yet had to leave as they soon come swarming for the kill.
Just won 3 games in a row, and in 2 of those we won because the enemy quit. The only reason the last ones idn't leave was because they were new to the game.
I was going to post this on the waypoint halo wars forum but I'm banned for like 5000 years lol.

I do this. So do my friends. If we know we are against a player that has us beat, and is stretching the game out to over a half hour on purpose, I leave. If you have me beat, finish the job! There is no point in staying in a loosing game for over 40 min just to stroke someones ego....I have better things to do with my time. I am all for an hour long slugfest, and loosing, but you can tell when someone is stretching the game out on purpose. I would rather find someone who is actually willing play.
