Before reading, know this is a quite large wall of text Smh...Hate no matter what I swear! For long time fans of this game, I'm truly surprised by the stubbornness you all show. The close minded, "Everything is Call of Duty", stagnant mindset is ridiculous. Could y'all make a better game? Think about this before you go spazzing. What makes halo the awesome game that it is comes from the beautiful story behind it. The multiplayer was one of the first to truly test skill. Nobody entered the game more equipped or ahead of someone else. It all came down to knowledge of the map, teamwork, and the gunfights came down to who had the better marksmanship. The maps forced competition and were unique. SPRINTING. Because call of duty was so lucky to be blessed with the privilege of owning sprinting. If anything, ANY and ALL first person shooters should have a prerequisite of sprinting. How are you a future soldier, but can't sprint? I guess spartans should just be walking, shooting, elbowing characters forever then. In halo cutscenes and movies, spartans act just like real soldiers; climbing, hiding, sprinting, stabbing and all. But you never talk trash about the cutscenes. Why aren't those "Call of duty" rip offs? But they decide to bring those elements in game, and now it's an issue. HALO 5 IS JUST ADVANCED WARFARE????? So for as long as super soldier games have been out, call of duty 's modern soldier as**s finally decided to make titanfall exosuit future type game, and now everything is copying AW? But then you all have the nerve to say HALO 5 is JUST AW!! When HALO PAVED THE WAY FOR SO MANY EXOSUIT FPS GAMES!!! If anything, other games, that have futuristic soldiers, looked at Halo and said "hmm, that's cool, but lets make it better by making them actually ACT LIKE SUPER SOLDIERS". 343i is trying to let us feel what it's like to be the spartans that were described in the books. What's the problem with that?! You all look at halo and say "what makes halo is not sprinting, cuz that's cod. Not ADS like that, cuz that's cod". As advanced and realistic as these games are, I appreciate 343i trying to make me feel like I'm actually a spartan, and doing true soldier-like, spartan things. Thank you 343. Please know everything you're doing is fantastic, and the real Halo fans that want to see the games evolve will continue to support you.
