Party Size should not be limited to 3. At least up Patrol size to full 6 man Fireteam.

Title explains it self, but to elaborate. If this is going to be a social game why limit party size to such a small number? I mean even Halo had 4 player party. I digress. For Destiny if their is a balance issue then I can understand however at least allow us to have full party in Patrol where there should be no balancing issues. This way clans and teams can at least have fun together if we need to grind out bounties etc. Ideally we would have other game modes besides PVP where we can have more then 3 in a fireteam. Currently we can only do more then 3 fireteam in a party for Raid. This is nice, however we can only gain rewards for this once a week. So having another play method for bigger groups would be appreciated! Please add more ways to group up in PVE, Patrol would be a great and easy start for this! Thank you for reading. -Sniperw0n

  • It would be nice to not have an odd man out. But I do think it caps at three because of balancing, even in patrols. A good three man team can already " monopolize" an areas spawns/mobs. They can also separate and complete bounties/patrols faster. A 6 man team could rip through patrols, imo creating an imbalance in bungies eyes with how quickly rep could be farmed. Bungie has been pretty clear they want things moving at a certain pace. As evidence, patching things like getting shards/energy from queens missions, loot cave, caps on marks/glimmer, etc. Strikes would also require a lot of tweaking to accommodate 6 man teams. Those are a walk in the park for most 27 and over. Getting through them even faster than already possible could create a loot cave type situation where gear/engram could be acquired at a pace not of bungies liking. Like it or not. We are at the mercy of bungie when it comes to pacing. We see it with the last patch, more frequent public events equaling more upgrade materials allowing people to gain level. Im sure it has a lot to do with the upcoming dlc and wanting as many as possible to experience the newest content. You are right. It would be nice. I just don't see it happening just yet. Fingers crossed, after dlc #2 maybe.
