Christmas noobs coming soon to a tower near you
With Christmas right around the bend and a lot of kids waiting for there parents to get them the game for Christmas could we be In for a shit load of squeakers come Christmas Day how do you guys feel about Christmas noobs joining the destiny world and community
Edit:thanks guys for all the replies a lot of you posted you would help the new players which is cool it will help grow the community and many posted about smacking them in mp which is also pretty funny all in all I think the Christmas noobs will become seasoned guardians in no time with all the tough love their in for
Oh and to all the trolls crying about punctuation I'll make it a point to never use it so I can spot you trolls because you can't help but to bitch and cry about every little thing you see on these forums get a life so you can cry about shit that really matters

I reckon you will get a lot of launch day guardians who had shelved the title until dlc comes out. Christmas n00bs.... i dont know anyone who wants this for Christmas. COD, Forza and Fifa will be the goto titles here in England.

The fact that new people are joining the guardian's ranks is a great thing, new people equals new opportunities for forum posts complaining about the Vault of Glass mechanics such as super oracles, or invincible minotaurs. The fact that kids will be getting Destiny in a few weeks is a great thing. We as a community should help them become more like us if Bungie would ever incorporate TRADING!!!! but no we can't trade because their are people like me who will absolutely destroy the market economy that would come about it. Say I have 50 Ascendant Shards I will buy a Found Verdict off of a player for 3 of those shards and turn around and sell it for 5 shards make a little profit. That was just an example that shotgun is so common I would probably buy it for 3 spirit bloom and sell it for a shard or energy.

It's not like anyone will have too much of an advantage against them. More or less there will just be more confused guardians.

I got an invite from a level two in the tower today... We were the only players in there so I joined him and we played the earth missions I showed him the deal with patrolling and we grabbed the ghosts and chests and two public events along the way (although he didn't get anything for the public events) :/ I think things could be a little clearer for new players... TBH we do get a bit abandoned in the tower XD

1 ReplyHopefully we will get some nice players in to even the evil troll force sweeping through like a plague across the systems. Wether it be a Christmas present or not we were all new at some stage. The more the merrier.

I think it would be nice to get some fresh players coming in. I like to help others, mainly in VoG. And more in the community will be nice. I really havent had a hard time getting into a game mode, but sometimes i wait 2-3 min. for a tiger strike or something. Would be nice to instantly get in.
