Universal Remote
Does anyone ever use this gun in PvE scenarios?
i have been wondering how such a thing could be exotic and still perform terribly in PvE standards
yes it is a shotgun that takes the primary slot but that just means theres more of a reason to make it useful in PvE scenarios
I dont know anyone who would use Universal Remote over other exotics for PvE
Only thing i use it for in pvp...
Curious to hear about your likes and dislikes about the weapons or just how useful it is....
as far as im concerned it is the worst PvE exotic... im pretty sure bad juju is still better than it
Im just hoping it gets buffed with upcoming exotic tuning... probably not because people think its such garbage to not even mess with it

Broke mine down for energy. That was the most useful it ever was. Making it a primary was retarded. It was trash. no regrets.

I don't own Universal remote personally, but my brother manages to one-shot knights with it fairly consistently. Seems like a nice gun to me...

The beast deals consistent 1K+ to everyone's favorite Priest when outside of his melee range and that's when Crowd Control isn't active (and in all honesty you should be focusing on the adds when playing here with this weapon. In most strikes you will find your Primary limited to killing the adds, but that makes the entire Strike hella-easy for your mates. That said I own every exotic weapon save for Hard Light, but I do admit wishing for some kind of tweak on the pellet spread in PvE at least.

I got it from the Iron Banner and used it once and I shot someone from point blank range and it was a 2 shot kill with horrible fire rate that I loose almost all my gunfights. It's just horrible in my opinion.

I love it. An easy to use sniper secondary with a low magnification makes you lethal at any range.

2 RepliesIt's absolute garbage. It's supposed to have the range of a scout rifle, according to my book that came with Destiny, but it has the range of a shotgun...in a primary slot...doesn't do elemental damage...it's...just...garbage.

2 RepliesMine is 100% leveled out and it is a love/hate relationship. In PvP on some levels that are close quarters it is truly a beast and I love it.. But almost have my Invective at 100% too and not so sure there is anything better about it than a few of the other shotguns.. at least invective has rapid fire and a quicker reload.. In longer range maps and in PvE it is worthless..

The range and precision damage buff while aiming down sight is not noticeable... I've tried measuring it against Cabal, Fallen, and Hive but it BARELY makes a difference... I would actually say that the Universal Remote is worse than the Thorn and Bad Juju COMBINED!!! Universal Remote: -Slow reload speed -Slow fire rate -Poor range -The Universal Remote bonus is VERY underwhelming, if not non noticable
