Ultra-rare items, your thoughts?
Would you like it if another weapon/armour class were to be introduced to the game where they are about 5 times rarer than exotics, Xur doesn't sell them and there are no bounties for them?
This it is completely down to RNG but because of how rare they are you get a token of some kind that you take to your vanguard and you get to choose between 4 of them (it'd be really crap if you got the one you wanted least with how rare they are)
I feel this is kind of how exotics should be as they are so common at the moment mostly due to Xur, who I do like, but I feel they are end game content that should be really hard to obtain.
What are your thoughts or questions?

1 ReplySomething this rare would be OP for sure and therefore would get nerfed not making it worth all the grinding you put into getting these weapons.

I'm 100% up for this. Black or Red icon weapons with 10% higher damage then Exotics and maybe the ability to choose how to forge them using materials. Make them RNG only by as very, very low % rewards from Nightfall and Raids only.

1 ReplyHonestly I want an arcane-type legendary. Something so ridiculously rare that very rarely drops and can only be acquired doing something difficult (and if ur lucky). Nothing more satisfying then finally getting that beast of an item after multiple runs.

I'm acquainted with most of them but haven't tried half of them to find the right slipper; I have yet to have chance. When the game opens up more and we go deeper into the universe I think better weapons will come along. No doubt about it. It really doesn't feel the game is only 2 half months old.

They'd be extremely Rare, somewhere above the Purple drop rate and only the weapon used by the enemy killed can be dropped! Also there is end game content that's really hard to obtain, it's called 'hard Raid gear'

It would be better if it drop like a token instead where we could exchange it. Something like a slot machine, casino style.

1 ReplySounds cool. I don't think they should really be any more powerful than the current exotics. Bring them up to par with Ice Breaker and Gjallarhorn. rocket launcher that holds 20 rounds and does significantly less damage would be cool. A sniper something along the lines of the Scavenger from CoD Zombies. I just think it would be cool to actually have some unique gear. And yes I want to be special.
