Raid loot needs to change
I just ran through the entire vault, and opened every chest we could. I got ascendants from every single one, except for the titan mark and chatterwhite. No guns, no gear. Nothing.

I'm cool with both the way it is but I wish they would change the system that does drop the raid gear. I've gotten the Raid boots for my hunter 6 times in a row now without any other gear. I have done it on hard and Normal and have gotten all the weapons I want (including exotics) but not the gear I want. I've broken down so many raid boots lol

Loot system sucks,and at this point it's useless carry on complaining,if they wanted to check it and better it,they had plenty of time and plenty of cries on the Forums....tehy simply won't change it,and this will put an end to this game,not far from now. DLCs won't do any good,in fact they look like stray pathches at an already bugged game with non linear story and no ideas whatsoever, cut in pieces from Activision,and their "money asap" logic.

1 ReplyI agree, it's ridiculous that you get ascendent materials from beating the bosses. I'm with getting them in chests but when I get them for slamming my head against the wall for an hour trying to beat a boss but my team sucks... You know something is wrong there

Nothing.[/quote] Definitely bungie needs to look at the looting system on the vog it sucks really should know what gear you have and what you dont have as pretty fed up getting chest armour and not gauntlets

39 RepliesPlease deej look at how many raids my hunter (main) has ran! Take a good look at that number 48 (which didn't change to 49 after my last hard run!?) and then could you look at the raid gear he is wearing (gauntlets). Deej, i fell out with consoles awhile back and haven't been playing them regularly since gta on ps3! Your game has got me back into gaming on the ps4! however..... This HORRIBLE raid loot system has me in a fit of rage when my level 29 hunter drags a team of 30's through a hard raid and they get all the gear/weapons and i get yet another chatterwhite, ship, energy/shards and yet another atheons epinurf!!! #*%@!!! I really want to buy the dark below but #*%@ wont even be able to play it with my main, while someone else has done two easy raids with their main is at the level cap "good to go"!!! PLEASE DEEJ LET OUR VOICES BE HEARD FOR THE GOOD OF THE GAME...... .......... Ffs bungie...... -_-

1 ReplyYes, i have about 140 Shards and 60 Energy, i have abloutly no need for more Shards. My Raid yesterday gave me only Shards and Energy. As useful as the green Rocket Launcher out of the Templar Chest :-( Thanks for -blam!-ing me the last weeks Raids / Nightfalls Destiny. I gonna play Far Cry 4 and GTA the next weeks. That games don't troll players and just wanna make fun. I like to play and have fun, no need for this shit anymore. Fix your damn loot System in the DLC!!!

6 RepliesHere's your problem, you don't get raid gear from chests, you get it from check points and your a level 27 and obviously not doing the raid on hard. I suggest if you want raid gear spend the time to max your armor and weapons it shouldn't take long I went from lvl 1 to lvl 29 in a weekend or 20 hours, didn't even bother with normal raid because the drops are shit, that's why you see people with 50+ raids and only 1 or no raid armor. First hard raid I did I got the helm and the chest. Good luck Vog normal is a super waste of time you got an entire week to do it and most raid parties can Make it up to atheon so even if that happened you can still get 3/4 drops from the raid. By the way you have to level up to 29 to do hard raid or no one will play with you. And try to find a raid group with at least 2 lvl 30s.

Where as I do agree the system needs work, the loot itself is fine how it is. A simple loot pool system would suffice to address pretty much everyone's issues with the loot system.

I hate the RNG loot. MVP for a significant number or iron banner matches = one legendary drop all week. I reached rank 5 and got -blam!- all. Raid keeps giving me shards, energy or the same gun every time. It's such a disappointment.
