[b]How to earn Motes of Light faster:[/b] Motes of Light can be earned through xp. People haven't put an exact number on the xp required to earn a single Mote of Light yet but it is said to be somewhere around 20-30k (So I've heard). This process takes quite some time to earn yourself a Mote of Light. Kills with specific weapon types will earn you more xp for kills with that type. You simply have to kill a certain number of enemies in any mode and bam, more xp. This may take a little time at first if using a new gun type but it pays off in the long run, especially if you have a gun or two you like. This helps boost the amount of xp you get and boosts your progress to your Mote of Light. Other ways to earn Motes are from crucible and mission rewards, and decoding engrams. These ways are less consistent and the xp can be earned at the same exact time. So pick a gun type and stick with it. Hope this helps
