Is Pocket Infinity any good?
Just grabbed the bounty yesterday for it as I have yet to have an sort of Fusion Rifle, does it perform well?
And any tips on finding rare fusion rifles to dismantle?

2 RepliesOwned it for weeks. Just maxed it. By far my favorite fusion rifle. Enjoy my 77 wizard and my plan c. Plan c has faster charge and more rounds but the full auto in the infinity FTW.

I hate the pocket infinity. .. because I am constantly getting destroyed by people using it. I would say It's a great weapon.

Charge time is slow. But after u got the pocket infinity perk it doesn't matter cause u will be pre charge before u go out cause miss shot will give u back the ammo to auto firing. Use it as 3 mag to take out one person. So just blast everything and reload.

Pocket Infinity will make you feel like a boss in PVP. I suck in Crucible usually, but when I use the PI, I tend to get a lot of easy kills. I actually stopped using it coz I was feeling so guilty, as in 1v1 situations you can't really lose...:P

People hate it in PvP. It's awesome, but needs pre-charging going around corners. PvE is great too. Blows through solar shields and any minions who might cross your path. Highly recommended but charge time stinks, and without the auto fire, it's underwhelming. Does make the fusion rifle kills bounty super easy.

Its incredible for PVP. I got t-bagged a LOT due to using this gun. When they EVENTUALLY killed me that is. Unlock it, level it, love it.

The bounty is a grade A pain in the arse BUT ....... Well worth it once it's maxed, absolute beast in pve or pvp!!!

...i did the bounty some time ago, i think two weeks or so, have used the Pocket Infinity few times and here's all i have to say: - the sheer power is great, in PvP it will one-shot just about anything - the mag only packs 3 shots, not exactly much - charge time, well, it charges for what really seems like INFINTY ))))

Tips for finding rare fusion rifles? Hmmm. Have patience. You're going to need it. Also, check the gunsmith every three hours. There is a chance that they'll pop up in his inventory. It's ok once you get it. It was better before it was nerfed, although others will say you should have been using Perfect Balance anyway. It'll tear through shields and make the Overcharge bounty very easy.

I enjoy it in pvp. It's a slow charge but once you unlock full auto it's worth it. It'll also help to destroy solar shielded enemies with ease.

As far as getting rare fusion rifles. I get tons from crucible or tiger strikes. The gunsmith will sometimes sell them too so save some glimmer and check with him after every reset.

The Pocket Infinity is a great fusion rifle. And the best way to find rare fusion rifles is to occasionally check the gunsmith, he sometimes sells rare fusion rifles. If you look at the tower map on bungie.net, you can check what he's selling at the time and how long it is until he refreshes his inventory

Its a good fusion rifle. The only downside is it's 3 bullet mag capacity. I don't think you should dismantle it. Its a great thing to have for solar shields.

Go to isthegunsmithsellingrarefusionrifles.com And put in your email. I thought it was some fake website but it's totally real. It'll send you a one time email telling you when the gunsmith is selling rare fusion rifles. When you get the email, log onto destiny and buy as many as you want from him.
