Need help finding information about Vault of Glass Hard Mode. Problem: Joining a Vault of Glass Hard Mode raid [b][u]with out[/u][/b] killing Atheon on Normal for the first time. Can you do it? Now it has been some time and Atheon has been killed by me a few times now, but I remember my first time in Hard Mode was before I killed Atheon on Normal. I had joined up with the Clan I am with now and thy needed people to do Hard Mode. I was level 29 and had two weapons at power 300, so I was invited. I let them know I have yet to kill Atheon on Normal so I may not be able to join. I was told the following [i]"to [b]start[/b] a Hard Mode raid you need to kill Atheon on Normal first, but to[b] join[/b] a Hard Mode raid the kill is not required."[/i] And with no problems I was running with them in Hard Mode with no Atheon kill. So to start a Hard Mode Vault of Glass, to be the Fire Team leader and invite 5 other people and begin the raid, you need that first Atheon kill. But you can join, be one of the 5 other people, as long as the Fire Team leader meets the requirements. Now the topic has come up, and there is no information I can find (as of this point) to confirm this. So I ask you all, is this right and you can join and partake a Hard Mode raid with out killing Atheon on Normal for the very first time. Or am I just out of my mind? Any links to information/video to confirm this is greatly welcomed.
