Hey Guardians as the title says I’m trying to form a raid team to run the VOG on hard and normal modes. I run the nightfall, weekly, and dailies. If you are interested please let me know as my list is somewhat limited due to friend request caps. What I propose is this I’m looking for a solid team to build this means we will use the normal to train in. the reason I say train in is because I know a lot of lvl 30 who are……(lucky 30) that means they got lucky on a raid and got gear and are now lvl 30. Being lvl 30 does not make you lvl 30 ready as I have seen many lvl 30 get owned on basic mistakes. Now I know pooh happens and it is understandable but rookie stuff like fist punching a harpie on a lvl 30 raid is well just asking to die. And coming into a raid looking to lvl up your weapon is well stupid as well. I honestly don’t care if your lvl 30 or a fresh lvl 26 all are welcome, but with that being said let me explain something if you are a lvl 26 do not expect to get the invite to the lvl 30 raid until you reach lvl 29 regardless of your self-proclaimed skills. It is noted that anyone under lvl30 has a reduction % in damage being done and an increase in % of damage being taken in the lvl 30 raids. So pleas if you run the lvl 30 run it with your best weapons, not your “I need to lvl these up weapons”. We all started at the same lvl thus some of us progressed faster than others so I understand the woes of being a lower lvl what I say is game up run the missions lvl your ava and come join. There are a few rules and I will explain why I must implement rules: [b]1. Make time for the raid.[/b] I’m looking to run the raid in full or to Atheon and then take a break, I’m not looking for check point farmers if you are one please *note*you will get by the first time but the second time…….(well there will be no second time as you will never be invited again) . The raid on normal takes an average of say 1.5 hrs( from forming the team to completing it). If you do not have that much time please do not join, as it is not fair to ask a person to join and miss all the rewards from before(tired of player saying I have to run because of Blah,Blah). [b]2. No weapon leveling in the raid runs[/b] If you have to ask why then please don’t waste your time applying and yes a few butt heads will squeak through and say FU. What this does is hurt the team as a whole so you will no longer be allowed to join any other raid that is done not to mention you will be booted from the team immediately. Be a team player that’s why it’s called a “Raid TEAM” 3. No mic no problem. I have no issue with no mic as some have cordless that are charging(understandable), but come on you paid a minimum of $60 for the game you can’t afford a $20 mic from game stop? If you say I can’t get a job I’m too young then…… yeah you might be too young for this raid team. So no mic is not an instant boot, but remember before you come and play be prepared you should have your cordless ready for the raid. [b]4. Bring your best gear.[/b] This means DO NOT try to level up your gear in the raid if you just got your vex grats lvl it up, but for the time being use your maxed or nearly axed weapons. Don’t come in the raid with a 248 damage when you have a 300 damage in storage. More damage you do the better and easier the raid will be not to mention the time you will save from not being able to kill the mobs in ample time. [b]5. Be professional or at least courteous[/b] Remember we all started at the same lvl, so we all deserve a fair shake at the raid and as stated before just because you got lucky with your gear drops does not necessarily say you have the skill lvl of your ava. I have seen some lvl28 hold better ground than some lvl30’s this is because of skill lvl so just because you are a lvl 30 does not give you priority over others. Will it be a factor sure but will it keep you in the raid…… sorry to say but no it won’t. So just because you’re lvl 30 does not make you holier than any other player. Infact it makes you stand out because we will see if you are a lucky lvl 30 player or if you are an earned this lvl 30 player. If you say yes and chose to join the raid team then the spoils of the raid will become yours and much luck to you.
