As detailed in the Demotivational Poster link - don't waste your time on Pocket Infinity, peeps!
Ghost, Gate Lord, Speaker, Gunsmith - ok, yup no problem.
10 Rare Fusion rifles?! WHAAAT?!
Spent a *week* checking every 3 hours waiting for the Gunsmith to get one in stock, all the while pounding out bounties and strikes... 7 days, TWO blue fusion rifle engrams (two. of thirty? forty...? weapons that I collected during the same period)... finally comes up last night (in the 3am to 6am time slot - nice... not) and NOW they want 200 Nightfall kills... WITH A FUSION RIFLE?!? Oh fer... I JUST SOLD THEM ALL TO YOU, YOU BASS TERDS!! Geezuz.
Ok, so buy ANOTHER fusion rifle but that one sucks against Nightfall enemies of course, so I go blow 150 Vanguard Marks and buy a legendary one. 200 kills still sucks, find a "cheese-cheat" (not quite a cheese, not quite a cheat) to get my 200 kills, finally slap a PI in my pocket...woo hoo, right?
Not.
All the rumours are true - 3 shots, slowest reload other than Invective (hey what a coinky dink, another crappy Exotic! Imagine that) - wow. What a total disappointment.
Thank goodness Bungle at least made a Vault where I can store all the crap they've destroyed so I don't feel like all the work to go get it was a "total" waste - at least I can store it there, like a cryogenic freezer until maybe someday they magically become useful again.
arg.

I hot lucky done the bounty in one day because the stupid gunsmith was selling rare fusions just when I needed them and the nightfall was the sepkis prime one, so I just kept going to the 1st room with the fallen and hive and killing 12 with my "the calming". Easy peasy.

Not sure what everyone is talking about - standing close enough to shove the barrel down a "yellow" Wizard's gullet, gun is leveled up except for the last few damage upgrades, pull the trigger and hold for those 3 quick blasts... nothing. Shield drops, takes some damage... not dead. Spend the afternoon dodging and weaving, waiting for those 3 rounds to reload (yawwwn), try again - the damn thing is jumping around so much I can barely keep it on target and 3 rounds lasts barely a couple seconds. This is bordering on useless guys - no idea what everyone (in support of) is talking about. Maybe on lower level targets which ANY leveled weapon could kill, but against Epic Hive Major? Pointless. Also, shortly after THAT brief but horrible experience, I started having the same problem others were complaining about - despite being leveled up for the "full auto" features, it won't. I pull the trigger - about 1 shot every 1.5 or 2 seconds or so. At first I thought the feature had dropped off but when I held it long enough, it finally fired again. Maybe the batteries are dead? Recharge needed? Memory effect? :) Back on the shelf it goes. I tried. My level 29 Warlock tried. No dice. Enjoy if it works for you, but I'm out. Back to Ice Breaker and a Hand Cannon. Too bad, it seemed like a neat idea for a weapon - until they screwed with it. -Phil

Completley disagree. Its a badass weapon in PVE, especially on solar shielded enemies and Solar Burn modifier. I don't know what you are using it on but you are wrong.
-
I have a solution to this problem. What you do is you go up to ur console, hit the off button, and then actually go outside and enjoy life :)
-
its funny once i heard about the 10 Fusion Rifle.. i collected them got 10 before i got the bounty.. im at the nightfall one because im not in a huge race to get the thing. ill just do it slowly each time i do nightfal. and i just bought myself the Iron Banner Fusion rifle which i love :)
-
haha you don't know how to use the gun eh m8? if anyone has met me in the iron banner, they probably h8 me for owning everyone with it. but I still don't get why bungie nerfed that gun to just 3 shots.
-
Of course you cud always look on here at the Tower map and see what the gunsmiths selling instead of turning your console on lol
-
Pocket infinity is one hit kills when it's maxed out in crucible and iron banner, you have to have balance that's why it has a slow reload if it didn't everyone would run it because it would be the best.
-
I use the gun all of the time. Its a life saver on the hard raid against supplicants. I use it everywhere. Its a great gun, you just don't know how to use it.
-
I heard that people were having issues with the bounty so I bought 10 rare fusion rifles in advance. That part of the bounty was over in 15 seconds.

It has full auto perk which you can spray all 3 shots rapidly in a single charge and it even has a chance to return rounds to the magazine if the shot were missed. Also the stability upgrade that you have to unlock. Upgrade it first, dude.
-
Dude it's all about play style, you might not like the pocket infinity's stays but other do, that thing is a beast and almost even op still with the 3 shots. It has auto fire dude. In case you don't realize what that means you charge one shot and after that the rest of them come flying out too if you hold the trigger. Especially in control this is a great weapon, you can walk into a room and easily take down two or three guys in an instant and still have time to pull out your primary for more enemies. Also too bad you didn't see my post last night, I was trying to let everybody know that the gunsmith was selling blue fusions I forget what time but he definitely had them. Besides that you're gonna have better luck with strikes to get them man. Bounties won't get you blue fusions really. When I got that bounty I already had ten saved but I only got it like a week ago and already have 12 more blue fusions from doing strikes because I want a second one for my other character

I use pocket infinity in pvp and is amazing if you fight one vs one you are going to win all the time

You should upgrade it. Once you get the full auto and stability perks you'll begin to think otherwise believe me.
