Iron banner= real thirties you worked your asses off to EARN those boots and ability to buy them
Raid=you got lucky.
I am a raid thirty I haven't touched the banner, I personally like the excitement of getting raid armor, but I hate that all these raid thirties are complaining about the iron banner, please shut up they actually earned their gear. I will gladly man up and say I didn't do anything to earn my gear but play on normal raids. You guys poured hours into ranking up to legit get armor, we just pray and hope we get lucky. Please stop complaining when the new raid comes out you'll be happy you have all these [b]real[/b] thirties (iron banner) able to help with the raid. Kudos to the iron banner thirties, stop whining good lord to the other raid thirties.
And iron banner people don't even bother with the elitist thirties lol they got lucky like me

Gear handed our to stop all the crying and whining. Suck on mamma bungie tit Raid gear 30= true badasses not pussys. Didn't cry to mamma bungie about how hard the raid is. Earned their gear thro weeks and weeks of raiding. Know the meaning of earning their gear and not getting hand outs. How can IB 30 before the real 30s if that was added weeks after the games release. Fake 30 are pretty sad. Trying to boost up their lame achievements

I don't see why this is even an issue tbh. I play everyday and I've been raiding with my clan since week two of the raid. I've seen guys who don't play half as much as me get to level 30 weeks ago. I've taken news into the clan, taught them the tactics and they've got to level 30 before me. I've never once posted on here saying "this isn't fair" I jus thought good luck to them, I'll get the drops in the end, I'll be that LUCKY eventually. When IB 2.0 came along I though here's my chance. I'm rubbish at pvp just check out my stats, but I played IB all last week just to get the boots and gauntlets. This time everyone in my clan said well done to me, no haters round our way. However, in the spirit of the game I did the raid last night and the boots finally dropped. So it's been a god week around really. I raid good, I pvp bad but I'm level 30 either way.

When does shooting at stupid AI need skill? Real skill present in crucible(IB). If you want to test your luck go play raid you just need a little bit of skill to complete the VoG, if you have no luck but got good or great skill and want a guarantee reward play IB what's wrong with that?

3 RepliesIron banner thirties are the real thirties. Vog takes skill but you aren't garunteed gear for doing good it's totally random so all you level thirty raiders stop being mean to twenty nines or iron banner thirties cause they had to work for their freakin gear.

In a few weeks time it won't matter how you got the gear, everyone will want 30s to run them through the new raid day one. I honestly believe the timing of the iron banner was to push the community more towards 30.

2 RepliesI got the complete raid gear(minus the helm in one run) took me two complete days of grinding hard to get to lvl 3 IB to get 1 piece of armor and more hrs added to get to lvl 4 for the arms. 2& hrs for raid gear, 2& days for iron banner...... I think IB 30's worked harder for it!

I've been raiding since the vault went live and nearly three months later all I have to show for it is the chest and boots and a whole lot of chatter white. IB finally made it possible to hit 30, but I think no matter how you accomplished it hitting 30 is a hard earned feat.

I've poured hours into doing the raid every week on my titan on hard mode with a dedicated group of guys, and most of us only need one more piece of raid gear to become 30. So we've been doing this for the past 2 months almost and you're going to try and convince me that some guys who became 30 over ONE WEEK worked harder than I have? Yeah, no. When I finally get that raid helmet I'll will have put more time than anyone has put into the iron banner for my gear, RAIDERS MASTER RACE

Raid takes skills = hours and hours of killing the same boss over and over. I call bull to what you 30s are saying and thank god bungie put lvl 30 gear on the iron banner, oh wait you still need a raid gear to get to 30 "excluding the fact that an exotic helps you get to 30" and when ppl like us get to 30 we get shit from everyone saying not a true 30 gtfo do you know how hard it is for some of us to get a team let alone get the gear you need!!?? I say F you, you have no idea how time consuming it it for some of us.

Lol iron banner is playing the game for hours. Completing VOG on hard mode takes skill. Crucible is unplayable for alot of people. You suck.

2 RepliesI have just the boots from ib, i did vault in both difficoulties, i wanted to reach 30 but i am not lucky enough. And i can say that I am way much more competitive both in pve and pvp then most of the "vault 30's" i've met. I was better then them in VoG even when i was 29. U assholes may have better abilities but i am far stronger

Thanks to iron banner i got my warlock to 30 from level one in 6 days :D wasn't easy but i agree, IB definitely is earning the gear, the raid is just too easy

2 RepliesIm glad i did grind the iron banner for the boots i needed just ran thru hard raid on both my hunters and yet again all way thru shards and energy except for a predyths revenge a weapon i already have maxed so thats now 5 weeks since i last got a piece of raid armor and 6 weeks since i got a piece i didnt already own. One of the guys who went thru both raids with me got 2 fatebringers a pair of boots 2 chest pieces 2 helmets and a gjallahorn gg bungie plz do something about the raid drop rates to even them out a little better

You can reach iron banner thirty by just playing iron banner. You can sit in a match, do nothing, get one or two kills to not get kicked, and reach your goal. And then when we get you when we do the hard raid you are worse then a lvl 28. Ib 30s are a hand out because bungie wants most people to be lvl 30 for the dlc

I've yet to see anyone complain that actually has a positive k/d in Crucible. Literally every person I've looked at complaining about Iron Banner is just someone who isn't very good. Not that I'm anything special, but I'm not complaining about the gear from IB. It should have been available in the first tournament I thought.

Here have three ships four sets of boots three chest pieces, a set of gloves, two time breakers, chatter whites out the arse, a dozen class items, three corrective measures (or was it four hmm...), three epilogue's, a Hazen vengeance, a mountain of ascendant materials, a praedyth's revenge, three lame shotguns, two vision of confluence, and a helm" Then he gave me a hug and a pat on the head, a plate of very yummy cookies (still warm right out the oven) and a cold tall glass of milk and sent me on my way. You know, on my hunter, a little more than a month ago I got two raid gear, the gloves and the feet. I have an exotic helmet. Every week I do the raid and I continue to get junk. I was so happy when I heard iron banner was selling gear...but turns out I already have it. So here I sit...still lv 29. Because destiny thought RNG is the one and only way to go.
