Four days.

Four -blam!-ing days, that''s the longest time I've managed to stay away from a barrage of error codes and it happened from Tuesday to Saturday this week. That's not to say I didnt recieve any error codes at all, there was the Vulture relapse for an hour or two - but the game was atleast playable. Come the weekend - and for some reason I've noticed that Mondays also are more trouble than the standard - and it's unplayable again. UNPLAYABLE! Don't tell me that it's not when I don't even have time to knock out a patrol mission between Bees and Currants. So basically, what the hell is going on? I'm open to the possibility that XBL might be a factor but for some reason I've never had these issues in other XBL games. Not to mention that I played PC games for the past couple of years, on the same connection, and never got thrown out. What i don't get is how it can be fine one day and total chaos the next. Are you constantly doing some background stuff or is it in correlation with game population? In the event of the latter, isnt it time that you perhaps opened up some additional channels so that it won't happen every week? And the money doesnt really bother me but when you invest in both the xbox and xbl to play this game - and this game only - it's like throwing money in the sea. It doesnt matter how rich or poor you are, it's still a waste.

  • So i havent been able to play destiny at all for almost 2 weeks because it keeps saying TRANSFERRING GAME CONTENT it stays at 81% an dosent move from there.I have left my ps4 on for 2 days in a row an still nothing. Is there anytging i could do or is my destiny broken for good?? Can some one help

  • Hi Batz, I am sorry to hear you have been experiencing connection issues, and we understand it is frustrating to hear that changing your home network can help if it was working previously, but many others have reported success by following the steps on our help pages, which I will post here just in case: http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11930 . In some cases, even power-cycling the router/modem and the console itself can get rid of these errors, as CURRANT is a general network error. Additionally, it may be a temporary connectivity issues attributed to heavier or slower traffic than normal in your physical area. If none of the above-mentioned steps work, we are aware that sometimes this is out of the player's control, and we understand this may be an issue you cannot solve alone. In all cases, we’re constantly monitoring and improving our network services to keep Destiny up and running for as many players as possible.

    • I keep getting error code anteater for the past few days every 10 minutes, my connection speed download is 14.4mbps, and connection speed upload is 1.5mbps, is it doing it to anyone else or is it just me and my connection?

Classic bungie ... why is this called the "help forum" when there is no real help provided.

        New day, new Baboons. *gives up on trying to run a raid* I love the fact that the game is unplayable with party chat so I can't even tell the pugs I'm playing with what's going on.

        I'm right there with you. In fact, I'm a step or two passed you... For 5 days now (well, as of noon today) I have been hit by the Vulture error code. I posted in your forums. I even signed up for Twitter so I could reach out to you. for 4 days and 15+ posts in the forums and half a dozen tweets later, I contacted Microsoft to verify that my account was good, and of course, it is! The customer support rep. gave me a phone number to call that was very obviously outsourced and the guy had no idea what I was telling him. He blamed my router's connection to the DHCP! This guy doesn't even know what DHCP is! So, being the fair guy that I am, I went through everything on my router and got myself an Open NAT type while I was in there, and guess what, [b]I STILL GET VULTURE![/b] That's it, I'm done! It's out of my hands. EVERYONE except Bungie has cleared things on my end. My brother can log in on the exact same box on the exact same connection just fine, while I can't on his Xbox, or mine and may I remind you,[b] [u]THE SAME ****ING CONNECTION!!![/u][/b] It is a problem with [u]BUNGIE[/u] and [u]THEIR[/u] servers, [u]NOT MINE![/u] For one reason or another, since the 1.0.3 update, I and only I am unable to go through the "Stabilizing Party" process. I'm done. I'm beyond done. I'm disgusted with Bungie's complete lack of customer support or even willingness to acknowledge that the issue is ongoing. My only customer support has come from Microsoft who have gone above and beyond to help me with a problem that they[u] KNOW[/u] is not their's to solve! Get on it Bungie. Whatever it is you have to do, do it. I'm done.

          Yes, what the Gentleman above said, much more nicer than I would have. Oh, and mine's been Whacked for at least a week. And NO~ BNGHelp4, I've not gone in and 'altered' any of my ports and what ever. Why should I have to? All the other games that I play online work just fine and dandy near as I can tell. Oh and look, if I don't feel 'comfortable' altering my stuff on my own, I can buy a program that'll do it for me. Really? The game was a gift, so no waste there. I already had XBOX Live, so no waste their, either. Just my time and effort to try to enjoy myself and have a good time and I am, right until I get booted (and, Sadly, nearly always just about at the end of whatever I'm doing), so there is a waste there.... (and the game is suppose to make me happy, not want to throw stuff....Right?)

        • on november 18th they started a free trial/demo. everybody is d/l-ing it and all that data has to go through the same pipe as the game?
