Why Iron Banner needs to Be Clash and not Control

Honestly Iron Banner NEEDS to be team deathmatch instead of domination. Here is why: It [i]completely[/i] defeats the purpose of level advantages. Upgraded gear and max level is nothing if your team doesnt know how to play control and just treat it like team death and kill people. Where as if it were team death, gear really would matter. I feel the only way you can actually win on iron banner is if you are in a fireteam of people who know what theyre doing OR you magically get put on a team of people that know how to play control. Edit: I know getting kills determines your team's score but you're not going to get any point from kills if you don't have any flags cap'd. Edit2: Control, Domination, Capture the flag, whatever don't be a -blam!-ing smart-ass you know what im talking about.

  • I think Iron Banner could use more game modes than Control, but as for it needing to be Clash (team deathmatch) over Control, I disagree. Control more strongly demands that you and your team work as a unit to capture the flags and support one another, and once you play a map enough times you can learn quickly how to play Control. If your team is treating it like Clash instead of Control, then yeah you're SOL, but it's their own fault that they can't switch gears.
