Hey Forum People, This might sound like a good idea to you guys or a bad idea but either way please listen. I think it'd be cool if there were games in the Destiny Companion, mini games, that could let you get glimmer in the app while you are away from your console. No engrams, no drops, just glimmer. Maybe materials (non-ascendant). Let me explain... I have reached rank 5 in the Iron Banner, now the grind for glimmer is essential. Iron Banner gear costs thousands of glimmer. 9,950 is a fine price for level 30 gear but the problem is acquiring that glimmer. The first purchase is fine, I'm sure everyone had max glimmer before Iron Banner started. Now we're all broke, and because we want Iron Banner gear, farming for glimmer is important. The Iron Banner is only here for a week and we all want the gear and weapons, but some of us barely have enough time for Iron Banner, let alone glimmer farming to purchase the gear. Also, if people do have the time, that's time wasted on glimmer farming. I'd rather be playing Iron Banner, the "Birth of History" isn't going to drop while I'm farming for glimmer. I need to play Iron Banner to get it! Glimmer Mini-Games would be helpful for the masses. People bored at work, school, on a train, anywhere would be able to get glimmer and possibly materials and not miss out on valuable play time when they have access to their console. When I'm on Destiny, I don't want to farm glimmer and materials, I want to raid the Vault of Glass, solo the Nightfall, and wreck people in Crucible. Say it's stupid, say it's awesome, I don't care but at any rate please give me feedback on my idea. Thanks.
