Calling the BanHammer
People who post on the following topics need to be smashed on top of their head with the BanHammer :
• people constantly asking for nerfs and/or an upgrade of a previously nerfed gun
• people who have spend 300+ hrs on the game & post topics complaining theres a lack of content
• people who constantly give out when Xur sells a weapon they 'Earned',imo you've earned it when you've busted your ass to get motes/coins & bought it not through a random drop,you jokers need to be smashed in the head with the banhammer numerous times.
• the small number of Xbox users giving out constantly about the PS4 exclusive stuff & timeframe.oh you played Halo & Bungie owe you?do you realise how idiotic you sound?
• posts on the DLC.it is what it is,if you dont like it simply dont buy it,the people who are buying it dont care if some of the unfinished content is on the disc already.
• and finally...People who are posting that there finished with destiny because (insert random reason here).guess what?WE DONT ACTUALLY CARE!sorry to hurt your feelings but if your leaving then good luck to you,no need to broadcast it to everyone!
Im all for constructive criticism,destiny is far from perfect & anyone who posts good solid arguments in the feedback section i salute you,good job!
*Edit* ok the Banhammer might be a shade harsh,as some have said better moderators might solve the problem,maybe if people posted there complaints were there actually meant to be ie the feedback section they wouldnt annoy me as much but most of these posts are made in the main destiny section or on Deej posts in the hope that because its his post he'll see it.
I do Agree that xbox users waiting a year for the ps4 DLC is ridiculous but the deals been done & nothings going to change now,the initial outcry was justified but posts still pop up about it months after launch.
Also the irony of me complaining about complainers is not lost on me,just something i felt i needed to post but i wont go on an on about the issue.

Just mute them. This forum has been so nice looking to me, since I spent a hour or so muting people when the DLC announcement was released. It's the same 200 or so people who whine and are negative, for the most part.

6 RepliesWhat? Halo isn't destiny. You don't hear Xbox users complaining that we didn't get ratchet and clank. That's the worst argument I've heard to this day. Destiny is actually on Xbox and ps4. Not just on any given one. When in the past has a game been multiplatform and held back content for a year that's already been paid for? I can understand a month or two, but not a year. The content is so small and insignificant. What was the point in holding it back in the first place? Content in COD was only held back for like a month, and 2 weeks in battlefield. A year is overkill. And only the true console war fanboys are the ones that bash xboners for their complaint. It's not cool. A month is cool. 2 months is pushing it. A year is not cool. If it was the other way around you wouldn't be happy about it either. Even so we accept it and keep going.

I mean activision "screwed over" sony with CoD DLC for 1 month, that it nothing like a whole year. Not saying that CoD is a good reference because the games shit but its under the same publisher so its the best example out there. I don't hate bungie, i realllly love destiny and am happily buying the DLC as I have got more than my moneys worth with destiny so far. I do feel it would have been better if they set it so the previous timed exclusives would be released with the next DLC pack. Something like this: Hawkmoon, carlo and strike would be released with dark below. Dark below excluvies would be released with house of wolves ETC. ETC. Yet again I am still happy with the game, I just wish we had the stuff within a year.
