Most of us are familiar with game modes where you start of on wave number 1 and it forever increases. Right? This would be a really fun game mode to do with up to six people including yourself. After each multiple of five you get rewarded materials, strange coins, motes of light, legendaries, and exotics. It would be a fun game mode to play with friends and people might stop complaining about the loot cave because this would be a legitimate way to kill thousands of enemies and get drops and loot, but actually have a purpose in the game. Let me know what you guys think. Edit: Characteristics of the game mode: 1. Decreased engram drops from enemies 2. Difficulty tiers. Lvl 20, 24, 28, 30 3. Every 5 rounds a random reward is given starting out at a rare rating such as strange coins, blue engrams, and motes of light and eventually upgrading to legendary quality such as ascendant shards, engrams, and even weapons. 4. Every 10 levels the enemy lvls will increase by two, along with resetting to a low number of them. The level they start at is determined by the difficulty you selected. 5. Round 40/50 would be the round in which you "complete" the game mode where you will be given rewards at the end game screen with chances of exotic and legendary gear. The Fireteam will then have an option to continue for an "unknown reward" every 5 levels after that. *will be extremely hard* 6. Six man team 7. Rewards reputation and marks for which ever class item you are wearing that is affiliated with a faction. Get rep and marks after each 10 wave interval 8. Call it "Siege of Darkness" Edit: No engram drops whatsoever for the first 10 waves or so to ward of farmers. After that give slim chance for drops, due to end of wave rewards being engrams/currency/etc Edit: I get why people keep saying "it's just like every story mission" but seriously... It's more involved and complex than that. Hopefully when they add more story to the game they change it up some.
