Something I've noticed is that when the striker class sprints, it gives you a haze effect that lets you know you're ready to shoulder charge. Unfortunately, especially in areas with low light levels, this makes it practically impossible to see. The visual indicator is great, but it's too aggressive. Is there any way we can have that toned down so it is just around the very edges of the screen?
EDIT: I've seen everyone's responses. I'd say that 95% of the time I'm sprinting to go somewhere, 4% of the time I'm using it to shoulder charge in PvE, and 1% of the time I'm using it to shoulder charge in PvP. It's just too aggressive for the most part. I see the concerns about PvP, so perhaps leave it as-is for Crucible matches, but in PvE, it needs to be toned down.

Glad to see I'm not alone in finding this an issue.Only a problem in dark areas but yeah, can be majorly disorientating!
-
That's the point. Shoulder charge is powerful. But it has weaknesses. You gotta charge head first with a sort of "tunnel vision"
-
I agree. THis is why I don't use it although it is fun. I play PVE
-
I think its supposed to be a trade off. You have a one hit melee but you don't have perfect vision to aim it.
-
Agree. Very distorting
-
Its the trade off for having a one hit kill spammable melee. I use it, and agree, but that would be having your cake and eating it too.
-
Agreed. It could be a little less prominent.
-
Fully agree, the same as the "dead zones" haze Please tone it down a touch bungie
-
-
+1 yeah it is very annoying having tunnel vision while sprinting.
-
It needs to be toned down. 90% of the time ppl are running isn't to shoulder charge something.
-
I see it as a 'blind charge' kinda like a berzerker. The haze is supposed to be a tunnel vision of sorts. Gets on my nerves but I accept it.
-
Considering it is a one-hit melee that you can keep active while turning, jetpacking, et cetera, I think you can handle a little HUD fog before you bash a guy. Either that or swap to something other than shoulder charge and you do not have to deal with it.
-
Nerf the dark, too OP.
-
Its there to help balance it
-
i see why it's like it is but a slight reduce in opacity not an increase to field of view would be better and still be balanced
-
Lol shoulder charge needs a visual buff?
-
Agreed.
-
Turn up your brightness that might help
-
Completely disorienting in the dark.
-
Agreed, it is annoying.
-
That IS helping facilitate your OHK melee…
