Striker sprinting "haze" makes it very difficult to see

Something I've noticed is that when the striker class sprints, it gives you a haze effect that lets you know you're ready to shoulder charge. Unfortunately, especially in areas with low light levels, this makes it practically impossible to see. The visual indicator is great, but it's too aggressive. Is there any way we can have that toned down so it is just around the very edges of the screen? EDIT: I've seen everyone's responses. I'd say that 95% of the time I'm sprinting to go somewhere, 4% of the time I'm using it to shoulder charge in PvE, and 1% of the time I'm using it to shoulder charge in PvP. It's just too aggressive for the most part. I see the concerns about PvP, so perhaps leave it as-is for Crucible matches, but in PvE, it needs to be toned down.
