I'm a casual player and as far as FPS games are concerned I've been an average COD player for a few years but I ended up taking a real dislike to the COD series for a variety of reasons. The upshot is I was not having fun which as an old skool player from the earliest games console games is what gaming is all about. Fun. In my view Destiny is what gaming should be and that is a fantasy world completely detached from the real world. Games like COD are virtualised reality and too close to home if you like. Just sayin'. I'm glad I bought Destiny as I'm having fun playing again. You could say I'm easily pleased and maybe I am but the Destiny world is totally immersive with lot's to see and do. Teamwork is encouraged. Rewards are plenty if you work for them and there are challenges aplenty. I play more in the winter months anyway but none the less I am playing more than ever not to mention with virtually zero cursing and getting angry. I might utter a good humoured minor curse word when a big boss catches me with my pants down and I get wiped but I am having fun while getting wiped. Some folks take things way too seriously. Just sayin'. I have to say I'm a PvE player 99% of the time and I've barely touched the Crucible. I've played a few PvP games but due to COD I'm still tired of it. It seems to me that Destiny caters for you even when you play only one game type so you still make progress and long may that continue. However I do have an exotic bounty for the depleted hand cannon and the third challenge is to play PvP and use void damage to defeat guardians which is a tough ask for anyone I guess let alone a non PvP player. As the standard bounties are separated between PvP and PvE I would like to see exotic bounties that are still a tough challenge but do not mix PvP and PvE. If this is already the case then please ignore my request. I'm looking forward to the expansion packs and hope they really add to the game. Having said that I'm still scratching at the surface as a lvl 27 and I was a late arrival to the game so I've still a lot to experience. I hope the game continues to expand in a positive fashion.
