ability to use vault from login screen!
When we found out that we could share weapons and items between characters, I'm sure we all thought how cool it was.
But after using the handy 'orbit-vault-swap player-orbit-vault-SHIT forgot something!!-swap player-orbit-vault-swap player-orbit-vault-orbit', for the 50th time, I'm sure we're all thinking "why can't it be quick and simple, like accessible from the login screen?"
Well, DeeJ, why?
PS. In fact, when selecting a character, instead of insta-orbit, u should get a pop up with 3 options:
Orbit
Vault
Tower
English
#Destiny

Whilst I agree it would make life easier, if Bungie keep adding everything from the Tower that people complain about to the Orbit screen, the Tower will become completely redundant. EDIT: Perhaps Bungie could make it so that your ship can carry additional items. Like a ship-based vault. That way, different grade ships could have larger vault space, giving you a true reason to want to pursue an upgrade.

I created a post in the feedback forum asking them to add the vault to the app. I think it would be nice & easy to switch everything from our devices since we already log into to our accounts through the app.

Upon login,i wanna see a "distribution screen" with all my three chars, their inventory and the stuff that's in the vault. Then I could switch my stuff from char to char, vault to char or char to vault. Fixed Also,bigger vault needed....exotics overflowing!!!

Why not be able to use the vault from the bungie website or the app? You can already equip items from the site....

Good idea. But... you would have to remove vault from the tower or have it's own instance you travel to (which would defeat the purpose of time you are trying to save by creating a different loading screen) Given that the tower is the only safe spot left on Earth.... where would they put it...... The Hive would rob you faster than a Liverpudlian! Vault would need to be a 3rd screen from your inventory that only appeared while you were in orbit (a screen down from the select sparrow/ship screen) Just a thought

The vault is one of the ways they keep us going back to the tower. I doubt they will do anything to change that

Back to Tower...Then oh my lord I forgot to take mats and I need to upgrade shit... Back to Tower... Gotta switch my gear to other char now after I made some bounties. Got to Tower with with main char, drop in weapons... Then notice I dont have enough space... Switch char to clear the space so I can put the weapons in. Back to the main char a finaly dropping in the weapons, relog on the other char and FML I forgot to put in the materials and ammo packs... DAMMIT!!!!! So again back on main, tower, switch char, tower... THE STRUGGLE IS REAL BUNGIE. I spent 20 minutes transfering gear to prepare my Warlock for Iron Banner... I shit you not...

This sounds like a great idea! Another option would to be able to look in the inventory of your other guardians from the vault.

Agree 100% it take about 10 mins to load up transfer and load up another character because of all the loading screens what a joke!

Yeah, please. It can take up to 10 minutes of loading in a character to go to the tower to get the weapons/resources I want into the vault to then swap character and repeat the whole process twice more after realising I forgot a gun or my raid sparrow or something. God damn it's effort

Can we make it possible to store items in our vault and/or remove items from our vault via the Destiny app? Lets just say I'm playing the Vault of Glass, I just used my last heavy ammo synthesis,I'm out of glimmer, and I died in the middle from splash damage delivered by Atheon WHILE in the relic shield/bubble (I won't elaborate anymore on VoG glitches). While I'm waiting to be revived, it would be useful to pull more ammo packs from my vault or from another character using the Destiny app instead of switching characters and making two trips to the tower then back again. Would help juggle weapons and other items between 3 characters with limited vault space as well.Just a suggestion that I think would help.

12 RepliesI would like 3 changes, vault-related... 1) You can additionally use it to dip into another character's inventory and even withdraw items that haven't been deposited to the Vault. 2) You can access the vault from Orbit's star map or The Tower. 3) Vault options from Destiny app would be nice. So you can prepare your character for a raid on the bus or train etc.
