Atheon took us 2 hours, not because of lack of skill...

But because of the constant glitches... Here's a list of glitches that happened on our run last night: - Says your teleported, not teleported. Only one of us was teleported several times. - Teleported while detained. - Minotaur regains health or is invincible. - "Relic has been dropped" while someone is holding it. - "You succumb to Oracles" while there are no oracles left, or nobody is in the portal. - "You succumb to oracles" while not really succumbing to oracles(I jumped in to help, but they were doing fine, we died anyways from succumbing) - Oracles double spawning - People dying upon being teleported, not from enemies. - "You are forever lost in the dark corners of time" When there was someone still alive out there. Mind you, this all happened in one run.. Ridiculous, we were unlucky enough to get every single glitch to happen to us in one game. We finally got a perfect run right when we were about to quit and beat him in 3 teleports. Can we please get these fixed? It seems with every patch, the Atheon fight gets worse! It's really no fun to be fighting Atheon and the game itself! Here's some glitches that I have experienced and my friend reported happening while on other runs as well: - Being negated by Templar while at Atheon. - Having 2 Minotaurs in the past area from the gatekeeper section. - Atheon respawing upon dying. - Relic not appearing after being teleported. - Detainment "fuzzy screen" effect when teleported. And not exactly a glitch, but still annoying: - The Detainment field is about the same size and ward of dawn, makes it impossible to kill until ward of dawn expires.

  • Ya I quit raiding because bungie only cares about fixing exploits and not the game. I only get on for xur and the weekly nightfall now. Soon nothing. This game is gonna die soon because of all the bugs that will never get fixed

    • Meh took 4 min to kill him for me , the only crippling glitch I find is praetorian health regen in Venus every once and a while. Most likely took you long cause you didn't have people who knew how to relic. 9 times out of 10 that's the reason teams fall apart

      • Yep, I want to say about 60% of our wipes were caused by glitches and the number one bug that has cost any group I've ran with a win was splash damage from Atheon.

        • I know there are some glitches but having done hard mode so many times I can honestly say 90% of wipes are player error and not glitches. Now if you are playing hard mode and underleveled , those glitches do punish you a lot more, hence why I always have a minimum of 3 30s so we can beat him in 2 teleports, any more than that a glitch is bound the mess up the run, its a battle of attrition, against glitches.

            If it took you two hours it was definitely lack of skill from someone on your fireteam. Maybe it wasn't you. People love to fk up and blame the bugs. "It was a misadventure, I swear!".

          • Lets add to that list of ammo synthesis activating but not giving ammo to the user and still kicking on the countdown timer. Its an expensive glimmer bug and needs to be fixed. Happens outside the raid as well. Got alot of teleported while detained as well as detained start while in air kills player.

            • I'm going to take this opportunity to add to your list. We just finished this raid on Hard after about 4.5 hours of trying. Templar Fight -sound sometimes stops except for some minor sounds. Enemies and guns don't make a sound. Gorgon Maze -Gorgon sees one team member, everyone gets "Gorgon's Gaze" debuf. No one dies and we have to suicide to restart -Gorgon sees one member, only one team member dies, we go on to kill the gorgon and resurrect the team mate. Then we all die except the resurrected team mate due to gorgon's gaze Atheon's Shit Show -Supplicants go through portals to Mars or Venus and kill team members fighting oracles -All 6 members of fire team are alive, Atheon teleports only two of them. Needless to say we "succumb to the oracles" -Detain shield goes up around you, then atheon teleports you into the portal. You die immediatly because the game thinks you left your detain zone. NOT FUN! -Once we come back through the portal, and use the relic to shield from atheon while we attack, sometimes our weapons do not penetrate the shield and we deal zero damage -sometimes relic shield just doesnt work and causes us to wipe. -sometimes relic user cannot damage enemies -sometimes relic user gets thrown across the map when melee attacking a oracle -returning through the portal has a chance to not teleport you at all, instead you end up in an empty boss room and have to go through the portal again -aim assist on the relic is ungodly high, causes a lot of undesired effects. especially when you cannot afford a single mistake. the raid is much harder than it should be because we as players are forced to play by it's basic game mechanics, but the raid seems to make up it's own mechanics on a regular basis. and they are seemingly random, however constantly annoying and ever present.

              • The first time we attempted atheon on hard after the patch, it teleported everyone in our group.

              • would like to share/add to what you and others have already mentioned. while on the center platform we have a titan use weapons of light bubble. we all get the notice saying we have the buff but not getting the actual effects.i know this because im a lv 30 warlock with a maxed patence and time that does 9k dmg normaly and 13k with weapons of light and every shot showed ony 9k. this happened for the whole team even after switching hosts 3 times.

              • The raid is full of glitches , had my worst run through the other night . Enemy's just standing still , regenerating, atheon only teleporting one guy etc as you have listed . This is meant to be the biggest event of the game and it's a nightmare . Get it sorted bungie . At least acknowledge there are issues ! And it's nothing to do with internet connection either , switched hosts many times etc .

              • Had the same glitches in my hard mode raid last weekend, but we also got one where the relic shield didn't shield at all and Atheon's missiles went right through the bubble and killed everyone.

              • yesterday while doing the raid on hard the gatekeepers inside the portals would not die. We would kill them and then they would re spawn again where the relic spawns.

                  • My friends and I beat the raid (hard) in like 40 minutes, we got really lucky with atheon, that we didn't run into glitches, if no glitches happen you can beat him on the first teleport or the second

                  • If it takes 2 hours to do the hard raid period it's most likely attributed to lack of skill somewhere on your fire team. With 6 solid hard raid vets it will be done in much less then that.

                    • If you didn't beat the Atheon in 2 hours I'm sure that some of the time might be glitches fault, but the other is probably lack of skill Beat the hard raid Atheon on second try last night.
