the logic behind infinite space for cosmetic items - a needed change

Currently we have a limit of 3 characters with one shared vault. Per character you can at most have: 9 shaders + the empty shader spot 10 emblems In the vault you have space that is split between emblems and shaders and other items. The problem is that cosmetic items are just that, they are cosmetic. They do not change the game in any significant way. They fail to make Atheon cower in the corner or fall off his perch. Harpies still suicide bomb like any honorable Japanese WW II pilot no matter what emblem you have. I fail to see why there is a limit for cosmetic items. It is more burdensome to have just 1 shader for all 3 characters, say chatterwhite, to make room for others. This is because switching characters take time. I suggest a universal pool for all of your cosmetic items, except for maybe class-specific items. My initial thought was similar to the selection screen for fighting games that have the ? for unlocked items. It could be organized to not make it burdensome or even leave out the ? until you have it. Often players find reasons to play the games they love when their usual tasks become boring. Collecting shaders and emblems can be one of these tasks. Therefore, limiting how many per account seems silly. Just a suggestion. Hope you enjoy the read. Some may say who cares or there is enough space, my argument is based on the idea that we should not even get to that point. Cosmetic items are just cosmetic. Therefore they should not take up space. As the game grows we will find new shaders and emblems. It would be a shame to have to delete an old one to get a new one. See you starside or in AW
