Every couple of posts today have been 29s complaining about 30s not letting 29s in their group, 30s can have who they want in their groups and if you don't like being turned down then that sucks for you.
-
would never complain, it is everyones decision, but i played with 30's and never heard them complain, neither the other way round

I feel for the 29's trying to break the 30 threshold, because I was there not too long ago. However, I will take chance on a 30 before a 29, unless I know the person, because that 30 won't have any damage penalties. To the 29's that say they deserve a chance, I say this: This is destiny. Deserve has nothing to do with it.

Meh be picky all you want iron banner is almost upon us and we will finally get our gear we have been screwed out of

Level 29s are a liability in the hard mode raid. Many groups of lev 30's are not skilled enough to carry the 29's especially during Templar confluxes. As lev 29 you take 30% more damage and deal 30% less So even if you are better than a lot of the 30s in the group you still have a MAJOR handicap

Ran Hard mode VoG today with level 29's and I was the only 30 in the group. We began with the confluxes, and got all the way up to Atheon with little to no problems. I didn't get to finish Atheon with them, had to go to work. But they all knew what they were doing, my friend who was running it with me had said after I left and got replaced they kept trying to cheese Atheon so he left.
-
Soo I was a fully flagged lvl 29 Sunsinger that got begged by lvl 30s to push Atheon off his mantle.

Lvl 30 hunter and can out skill any titan or warlock that thinks we cant do shit but my hunter runs the relic and clutches the save more often than not. Getting to 29 is easy( non raid gear) and most thinkg doing raid on normal counts as experiance for hard. It doesnt

All of these comments I make are based on hard raid. I can see both sides of the coin here since I have a level 30 and 2 29's. It comes down to many factors IMO. Player skill, weapons and overall team skill and experience among the most prominent. One event sticks in my mind, recently in a raid with a group of randoms at the confluxes before the Templar, get to the second set with 4 29's defending the left and run after run they just simply couldn't cope. Needless to say I left swiftly afterwards. Now that example, I'm putting down to really bad players. Had those same players been at level 30, I'd imagine it would be the same outcome, they were just that bad. Doing hard at 29 just takes a little more care because you can't kill as quick. I can't say I personally find it difficult, it just takes a couple extra shots to kill. I've been through the raid enough times now to know where to position myself so I have plenty cover etc if I need it. And I'm always using my maxed out weapons on hard which makes all the difference as well. That said, if a 29 joined my group without maxed out weapons, I would ask them to leave.

I wonder. Do those same 29's who say we 30's just got lucky with RNG (and suck) claim that it's bullshit because they earned their gun rather then buying it from Xur...
-
We deserve a shot, if we suck then kick us
-
That's how us 29s feel about having Hunters in our group.
-
You make me hate people.
-
This is levelism I will not stand for this injustice!
-
Why make this post you degenerate prick?
-
30s seem to think they are entitled to something. RNGesus thinks he's tired of seeing whiny bitches. Doesn't like other gamers having a voice, immediately voices his opinion on the forums.
-
If you want to play with 30s get to lvl 30 I'm lvl 28 Warlock I played vog hard and I played better than lvl 30s I even got more kills so lvl 30 should take a chance on lvl 29s
-
And it will be those 30s who actually suck who are stuck at 31 after the dlc
-
Funny when I was running vog last night I had to carry the 30s we had through because they kept dying over and over and over it's about skill not level.
-
You guys are what's wrong with this community & why a lot of people don't even waste their time with the raid. And why it needs matchmaking

Edited by Some Black Guy: 11/15/2014 12:57:13 PMYou do realize that most of those 30s were a 29 at one point right? Lol just wait until the 29s get to 32 before those do, cry baby. Nice ego.
-
get 30, see what you think of 29s then.
-
I really dont care whether i group with 29s or 30s in hard mode, but i DO agree with this. If ppl want a group full of 30s then let them. The 29s shouldnt automatically expect 30s to help. And to be honest, its safer to do with 30s because being lvl 30 usually indicates a person has done the raid enough to know what theyre doing.
-
Agreed. I still invite 29s though. People need to chill. People don't have to play with you. It's a game kids.

Edited by I Pye: 11/15/2014 3:05:59 PMI dont mind trying with more that 2 29s but ive found 2 id rather not with more than 2 unless i know them
