I know this is going to sound nerdy but the halo books. They have an absolutely amazing story. Also the Joe Ledger novels is a series I immensely.

Song of Ice and Fire and The Kingkiller Chronicle are fun fantasy series. Storm of Steel is a beautiful book about war that I can't recommend enough.

I just recently read two books in a series that were recommended by someone else here: Old Mans War and The Ghost Brigades. Both were great books, that aren't too long. It's really an interesting Sci-Fi story that actually incorporates real life physics and science.

Little Brother It's about terrorist attacks,hacking,awesome shit.I recommend checking that out. The Search for Wondla(whole series) This is a gr8 series.It is about a girl(Eva Nine) living in a sanctuary with a robot.She tends to wonder why she is the only human in her world.Why can't she never go up the surface. The Giver This is about a boy who lives in a town where everyone is the same but for 2 people him and the Giver.He must find out why he was chosen to be different than anyone else. These are awesome books IMO I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
