To me, almost all of my exotics are disappointing. I have Suros Regime, Red Death, Bad Juju, MIDA Multi-Tool, Pocket Infinity, Invective, Patience and Time and Really Good Advice. And even with all of those, when it comes to a strike, PvP, public event or anything requiring reliable firepower, I equip one of my legendary weapons. I use Shadow Price 95% of the time in my primary slot. In my special weapon slot it's either Purifier VII fusion rifle or Praedyth's Revenge depending on the situation. And in my heavy I usually have one of my 2 Swarm machine guns. One has arc and the other has void. I really think the exotics should live up to they're rarity and the word "exotic". Not exotic looking but higher power than rare and legendary. So I've been disappointed by every exotic I earn or am rewarded with. The Invective helps in PvP but otherwise, it's useless. And that's only when you reach the stability perk. The only other I use is Suros and that's just when I'm in the mood. Not out of necessity. I was on a roll in the crucible with Suros until I upgraded to slower but stronger fire rate when ADS. It's called focus fire, I believe. But everyone talks about that upgrade ruining the gun for the crucible. I know this is a long post but I wanted to give you my opinion since I have so many exotics. I felt I could fairly answer your question. This is all my opinion but, if you look around forums you'll read complaints about every exotic listed.
