So after countless hours on Destiny playing the story missions, and a lot less playing the Call of Duty AW Campaign. I've come to a conclusion that AW has a better story than Destiny for a few reasons. /without saying any spoilers.
AW has a couple of elements that make me wanna keep playing until im done. Those are the little stuff that you dont expect. Something doesnt go as planned, one thing I loved about CoD Campaigns is the A.I. sure they're dumb as shit but they add to the game. Destiny lacks friendly A.I.'s. I get it's all an online game but it would of been cool doing some missions with the stranger or with a small strike team. (idk just throwing whatever)
AW also has another element that Destiny lacks, character development. You get to know just enough about each character. I dont know anything about the Gunsmith, Cryptarch, The Speaker, Ghost, the stranger. It would of been cool knowing where the characters are from, and how they eneded up in the tower.
I still love and hate Destiny but doesnt every one feel the same about one certain thing? Nonetheless this probably a pointless post. I have nothing better to do so be nice. :p

All the backstory on the people in the tower can be found in the grimoire. For example, did you know that Cyade-66 (Hunter Vanguard) is only doing it (selling vanguard stuff) because he lost a bet? Originally I thought that it was a mistake to not include this content in game, but after reading WHY it's on the website it makes sense. There's just not enough room in the game to store all that data. The data storage is dedicated to the game, and all the text/info on the backsotry is on a different server. Quite brilliant, actually. Too bad I'm the only person who thinks this.
