After the collapse the Darkness spread until only 1 city stood. The only thing standing between the Darkness and the city's collapse was the Wall and the 10,000 men and women of Echo Brigade who decided to make their last stand and make it a good one. For 7 days straight the city held it's breath as the terrors of war went on beyond the Wall. This would later be known as the 7 Day War. On the seventh the Darkness gathered itself up for one last full blown attack outnumbering what was left of Echo Brigade 100 to 1. This final battle was the Battle of the Wall. Until then Echo Brigade had held off the Darkness from coming near the Wall, but on this day the Darkness pushed what was left of Echo Brigade into the Wall for protection and their last ditch effort. Many times the Darkness almost broke through, but thanks to all the selfless sacrifices made by Echo Brigade, the Darkness was thwarted every time. On the eighth day as the sun rose, from the silence, what was left of Echo Brigade returned. Upon everyone seeing what was left of the once many Echo Brigade there was silence. For they had saved the city, but at the cost of losing many to the Wall. These selfless men and women would later be referred to as the first true guardians. Some say to this day you can still hear the echo's of those brave men and women who sacrificed themselves within the Wall.
