Xur, you have disappointed me. Again.
Truth be told, I was among those worried that Xur would be selling The Last Word this week; not because I want to be a special fairy, but because I already have one. As in I wanted him to sell something new, something I don't have... I was hoping for either [b]Hard Light[/b] (shut up...) or [b]Thunderlord[/b].
As for armor? I really wanted [b]Young AhamKara's Spine[/b] for my Hunter, and either the [b]Skull of Dire AhamKara[/b] or [b]Heart of Praxic Fire[/b] for my Warlock.
I was disappointed in every area. What did Xur have? [b]Truth[/b]; an Exotic rocket launcher with the stats of a Legendary, which I already have (bought it last time Xur had in stock), and fully-upgraded.
For armor? [b]Sunbreakers[/b] (4th f***ing time!!!) and [b]Mask of the Third Man[/b], which I actually got from the Nightfall yesterday.
That left only the Exotic engram, and guess what I got from that? The Achlyophage helmet, which I already have for my Hunter, and fully-upgraded to boot; I even bought it from Xur weeks ago!!!
I'm becoming really frustrated with Xur; this must be the 3rd or 4th week in a row he's disappointed me with his selection. Not since [b]Red Death[/b] have I bought something from him that I was really [i]thrilled[/i] to have.
I'm saving my Strange Coins for next week. Also, remind me never to waste my Motes of Light on him again. Ever.

And the more exotics you have, the less likely it is that you'll get something new. That's relatively simple math. For example, I have three characters, one of each class. All three have two exotic helmets each. There are nine exotic helmets total this point. This means that, just for the engram, I have about a 33% chance of getting a helmet I don't have. Those odds suck. As far as the three exotic pieces of armor, there are something like 20 all told at this point. He has three for sale each week. Again, I've got six helmets, and the Ahamkara gauntlets. That leaves 13 pieces of exotic armor, 11 if I buy the crest and the sunbreakers. Realistically, there's more than a 50% chance per item slot that it will be an item I already have, and that chance will increase with each exotic I get. And don't forget, you can get exotic armor drops from nightfall and the occasional legendary engram, so that further increases the chance that you'll see something you already have since you can get them elsewhere. Math sucks, huh?

You need Hard light? Its not powerful at base to kill a level 4 with 1 bullet. You aren't missing much. It's more of a hose really.

Know what, Aryck? I actually inserted my H4 disc a day ago for the end fight, and was surprised to see my missing Crimson DLC achievements to pop up! 343, though I absolutely stopped playing Halo, made me more happy than Xûr this week. That's... Sad.

I didn't believe I'd get lucky twice so I stopped my spending there. This was a few weeks ago But he had helmet engram last week.. sucks he brought it back again

Mask of the third man is something I really wanted and didn't have the coins to get first week, so I'm glad for that. Sorry you got it from nightfall but that's why you complete it before Friday so you don't end up buying what he sells. I'll buy sunbreakers for my lock, just because I don't have it already. Probly won't use them, but yea Heart of Praxic Fire is what I really wanted and he doesn't have the chest engram I was saving 92 motes of light for either. Crest of alpha lupi... now that I thought about it I'll skip buying it even tho I'd like it, cause as I mentioned I intend on buying chest engrams in case he never sells praxic fire.
