As someone who loves the game, I can't help but feel pretty disappointed that Destiny doesn't include a local multiplayer. I love couch play, and Halo was perhaps the best game I've ever played for that. With so much opportunity for that with Destiny, I was really surprised to see that it actually did not have it as an option. The game, after all, is entirely based in a multiplayer world where you interact with other players pretty regularly even when you're playing alone. It would make sense to see two people in the world who are playing from the same system, since it happened all the time in Halo as well. I suppose inventory management and item drops might be a bit of a doozy, but that's what comes with an MMO. My fiance and I both play, and have made it up to level 27 each on our respective profiles. I love playing and watching him play, but it would be so much more fun if we could jump into the game together. At the same time. I'm sure we're not the only ones who feel this way. Unless we get another PS3 (which no) we can't play together. I feel like Destiny has so much potential for expansion; there are a lot of things we may see in the future. Please, our Bungie overlords, consider this humble request!
