Bungie: here/hear is an easy fix.

I find myself sifting through these forums on a regular basis now to see what us as a community thinks needs fixing. It is pretty clear that at the top of our lists are mainly: - various things with the raid (rng tele, portal glitches, platforms etc.) - lack of things to do - common ground between pve and pvp (and balance overall) - the bare bones story - many other things which this post will not delve into. This post is for a fix that is not necessarily game-breaking(although it could be cause for disorganization in group scenarios). And that is to incorporate a simple audio mixer into the settings menu (master, fx, music, ambient volumes). I don't know about you guys but audio settings are like a 'day one' sorta deal in my books. I am still in disbelief that something like this was not included and it is affecting my overall experience, amongst other things.... People may read this and say that there are more important things to tackle and I would wholeheartedly agree. That being said, a patch for this would be so unbelievably simple (they could just add a 'mute' for all I care.) Now, some of you may think that this whole post isn't necessary for such a small problem, but unfortunately this small problem has large consequences. In the heat of battle, the music can become so loud that it surpasses the point of competing with the audio levels of my party/fireteam members. There is a problem when I cannot effectively communicate with team members whether it be in the raid; calling out certain situational things. In the crucible; calling out enemy positions, or even if I just want to be chatting with my friends during patrols. I should not have to ask my friends to repeat themselves three or four times because the music is so overbearing. I will stop rambling on now. But the reason I make this post is to bring light to a problem that has large implications on gameplay that may seem like such an insignificant problem. So, I ask any guardians out there that agree to please interact with this post with a 'like' or 'bump' so that this can be quickly resolved (we hope). Thank you for reading, Gimme HS tl;dr: audio is too loud, allow us to control it via settings menu.

 • Your absolutely right, while i love the music, as music and yes it does suit each planet its way to loud, when a game depends on situational awareness just to find relic iron, and all I can hear is blaring music, trying to do a raid mission or anything else with others is a case of trying to talk over the music, and mostly failing to be heard properly... As you say its a day one item? To Bungie "Audio is too loud, allow us to control it via settings menu."
