DISCLAIMERS: - My Net Speeds usually are Download = 83.27 Mbps and Upload = 21.21 Mbps - Not a Playstation fanboy (never even owned a ps3). - I have about 21 years experience in gaming and a varied list of titles under my belt (see my site for details: http://www.terranceconnolly.co.uk/gaming.html ) DIFFERENCES: - Firstly either, servers for Destiny on Xbox One are shi**er, or more people who play on the X1 have sh** internet as I experience more lag & crashers whilst playing on the X1. (PVP sometimes seems like it has invincible players, as in 1 game I shot a guy with Golden Gun twice & he ran away with full health, later he ran into me & my character fell over dead apparently from Fist of Havoc ) - Secondly Destiny on the X1 feels more like a ghost town as many times when searching for a Strike I get 1 or 0 players join. - Thirdly, either all X1 players are shi**er than PS4 players OR there are more sh** players using X1 Destiny and so statistically you are more likely to encounter them. I am not saying I am a 1337 G4M3R, no am I saying I am Pro,.I know I make mistakes in PVE & sometimes get owned in PVP, but almost everytime I have played a Strike on the X1 & the game has actually given me other players they turn out to be useless, either stood still leeching because they're to sh** or lazy to play, or they suicidally run around into some of the most stupid situations & come across like they have no idea what they are doing. The amount of Strikes on X1 I decided to quit because I don't want to have to solo a Strike on these loser's behalf & when I was using new characters & could use a little help only to find my randomly selected teammates are leechers or dumbsh**s. The summoning pits is one that annoys me the most on new characters as sometimes as sometimes I see players running laps around the boss arena spawning all the additional mobs making it one big Knight & Wizard hell hole. Most of my deaths are from trying to save other people & then later regretting it. When I play on PS4, most of the Strikes it puts me in had players who seemed to know what they were doing, even if they might have been new to the game. Also I have yet to search a Strike on PS4 & be put in a game on my own. - RNGesus seems nicer to PS4 players. I know, I know... RANDOM. But shortly after hitting LVL 20 on PS4 Destiny I saw Legendaries & Exotics from engrams every few days. I got all the Exotic Bounties after a few days of hitting LVL 20 & in about my 7th crucible game I was given Ice Breaker for coming in 4th place. On the X1 after hitting LVL 20, I have seen 1 Legendary engram so far & no Exotics items, apart from what Xur was selling & the Friday just gone he didn't have anything I wanted. - Playstation gets extra content. I bought an X1 because I have a few friends that play Xbox. I bought a PS4 because of exclusive content. I thought launch was all the exclusive Playstation was getting but the upcoming Expansion is also offering exclusive content. Does this then mean, every DLC for the next several years will keep offering exclusives to Playstation..? CONCLUSION: I have had & keep having a more enjoyable experience on Destiny PS4. It's just a shame I couldn't convince my friends to buy a PS4 & so I had to buy an X1 just to play with them. Despite meaning they miss out on the exclusive stuff, which I know is only timed, but I still have to listen to them complaining that they don't get to do this strike or acquire that exotic, but it's their fault they didn't choose the correct system. Bungie told us all well in advance which system came with exclusives.
